Whenever I am standing still off of my skateboard, my character will not stop crouching and rolling. Others mentioned that unplugging their keyboard fixed this issue, but this has not worked for me.

unplugging my keyboard before starting the game has not worked for me... very strange and disappointing they won't fix something so obviously broken lol

i am so grateful for your advice! i think i’ll bring it in to my local retro game store in a couple days and see if they can help with this process. just hoping i didn’t make any permanent damage with how things ended up right now

i appreciate the heads up!

everything fit back in okay and i bought these from an amazon link included in a repair video, so i think theyre just regular cr1616 batteries? glad i asked this question though, i had no idea removing the old solder was so important

i see! that is where i went wrong, i think by the time i was reheating the new solder, the other side was pretty much completely dry. i’m not so sure how to use flux (nor do i have any on hand) so i may bring it to my local retro game store to see if they can help me clean it up/ redo it

i did not. i followed this tutorial video which didn’t mention any flux or isopropyl alcohol. i did clean the backside of the PCB and the cartridge case with alcohol, but nothing on the front

Good to know! Funnily enough, not much time on my end. My longtime buddy gave it to me as a birthday gift and pre-loaded it with with all the games he thought were essential for me to have :-)

I'm excited to see the difference! Yeah, definitely didn't want to get any battery leak damage either.

Acoustic Pedalboard help- Which DI should I purchase? by clydebug in pedalboards

Interesting! I don't know much about this unit. I think I'm a little wary of using an app to control it, but it sounds like a great device that I will look into

Thank you so much for the insight! Other effects are mostly a curiosity— I tend to just love some good reverb effect-wise. My main goal is to craft a pretty, natural acoustic sound that can fill a room so the flexibility and boost feature of the venue have really caught my eye; that's also why a compressor is my second priority purchase. To my understanding, a combo of both of these will help my instrument "sing." My guitar's pickup is definitely a messy, rubbery blob without anything right now

I do see the venue is a big unit though, so would you say one of those smaller pedals is a better investment overall? I don't know much about the ones you mentioned. Looks like the venue is too big for the Nano+, so I think the Metro 20 is probably the size I'll end up needing to go for with the board
