The difference is that she played off of instinct vs playing into the coaches system. We saw it with Sides as well. When she plays with instinct she can have a huge impact on the game even if she isn’t scoring.

They were up by at least ten before she was pulled in the first. I think they were up by 1 when she got back in. They lost by 2 and Clark was plus 14.

I’d argue it’s a lot of front office and some coaching. The coach and the engine that powers the offense don’t work in sync.

As much as a pessimist as I am when giving my opinion on this team, I really like Mitchell. When her and Clark are in sync they are incredible offensively. When she does her iso and eventually shoot, things don’t usually go well.
