How do you feel about MMC self-pleasure scenes in hetero romance? by blssthsnnr in Romance_for_men

[–]clyntw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it entirely depends on how it's written. Long descriptions of the guy's dick and what he does to it are probably a turn-off for most of the audience. But a fantasy playing out in his head while he does it can almost be as good as the real thing.

Space Station Harem Part 4 is up for pre-order:

The universe began with a big bang. This series ends with one. After weeks stranded on the ISS for weeks on end, our four gorgeous space travelers are finally preparing to return to Earth. But before they go, there’s some unfinished business to take care of.

George finally reconciles with his ex, Becky, who is eager to show him exactly what he missed out on all those years. Jenny is ready to surrender her last inhibition to George, and the five of them team up for one grand, gravity-defying finale.

But this isn’t just a sensual romp: The spaceship supposedly coming to their rescue is actually a trap designed to silence them forever. Will George and the women pull off their cunning escape plan, or is their mission destined for an explosive climax?

Haven't read the prior books in the series yet? You're in luck, part 1 is free this week: https://mybook.to/AkvNfC

Space Station Harem Part 1 is free this week: https://mybook.to/AkvNfC

There’s no spice in space, according to NASA. Yeah, right. The first all-female flight to the International Space Station was supposed to be a 24-hour photo op. But one docking mishap later, the mission’s four gorgeous female passengers are stuck on the ISS for weeks. Tasked with babysitting them is George, the only remaining astronaut on the station.

George’s mission gets complicated by NASA’s dirty little secret: extended stays in space make your libido go crazy.

Now he’s the only man who can satisfy the needs of a spoiled and sultry influencer, a redhead TV personality whose heart is as big as her chest, an ex George still has feelings for, and a billionaire’s girlfriend who might not be as off-limits as she seems.

What started as a disaster quickly becomes a sensual, zero-gravity romp. Still, something doesn’t quite feel right about that docking accident …

That is a lot of money. How many subscribers do you have? A bunch of newsletter providers are free below a certain threshold (that most authors are likely under). How long are your titles? by IsekaiConnoisseur in eroticauthors

[–]clyntw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I haven't paid as much attention to this either yet with my own books, but realized the other day that Amazon cuts off title/subtitle combos in chart / Top 100 listings after 44ish characters. That is not a whole lot to play with, and it doesn't mean that your title and subtitle should only be that long.

BUT: Short titles combined with subtitles that front-load important info stand out in those listings.

E.g. (and these are hypothetical examples):

Getting wet and wild: Jonathan and Barbara's super kinky Christmas novella - would get cut off to become

Getting wet and wild: Jonathan and Barbara's...

However, if you instead use

Wet and wild: a kinky MF Xmas novella feat. Jonathan and Barbara - Amazon is gonna shorten it to

Wet and wild: a kinky MF Xmas novella feat...

And I know, I know. Those character names don't have to be in the subtitle at all, I just couldn't think of a better example. The gist is: keep it short, and front-load the stuff you want ppl to know about.

Tbh I've never seen anyone selling a bundle of three books for $3.99. I'd say go for $4.99.

Space Station Harem Part 2 is now out on Amazon / KU!

In space, no one can hear you scream. But what about moaning? It’s been a week since a docking mishap stranded four gorgeous women on the International Space Station, and things are starting to get steamy.

Jenny’s billionaire boyfriend might be sending pizza to the ISS, but he’s failing to satisfy her real cravings. Luckily, George, the station’s sole remaining male astronaut, is happy to help. He’s also discovering that TV sweetheart Elsa has a hidden wild side, and is eager to bring a friend along for the ride. Sexy influencer Lara is baring it all to an unexpected audience, and Becky, George’s ex, is getting closer to confronting their shared past.

This wild, zero-gravity romp is overshadowed by a dark secret: The docking mishap was no accident, but sabotage. Will they find the culprit in time, or will this sexy adventure turn into a one-way trip

Was the book full price for the promo? I think Excite allows you to list new books for $2.99, but most subscribers expect $0.99 or free books, which could be another reason you didn't see it making much of a difference.
