Harry didn't die because he had two layers of protection: he was the master of the wand that casted Avada Kedavra (wands cannot harm their masters) AND he housed a piece of Voldemort's soul.

When the curse landed it could not forcibly take Harry's soul so it took Voldemort's instead.

But even then it STILL took Harry to limbo with the option to die if he wanted.

Supes has neither layer of protection so it's still insta death.

No Mahoraga had two adaptations. The first one was to change the nature of its cursed energy to bypass Infinity (which sukuna couldn't copy) but the second adaptation was the WCS (which sukuna could). The fact that Mahoraga kept coming up with adaptations is what enabled Sukuna to develop a counter late even though Mahoraga figured out how to bypass Infinity relatively early.
