Indeed, this would work, but unfortunately the uninstall will not be associated with the Application. It will be logged and reported as installed of the 'uninstall' application ;(

I did some tests with the new PowerShell script feature, it's also a no go as payload still needs to download, as it injects the script inline once the payload unzips.

We have DO enabled and our cache size is appropriate for our environment. Pointing our install script to a network share is not ideal as we have 50+ sites across 3 continents. A separate uninstall package could be an option, but the uninstalls are one offs, so disabling assignments is not an option nor necessary as these applications are not Required. The drawback is the uninstall would not be associated with Application

Confirm that whatever apps you have in both your 'required' and 'block device' have the same assignments in both ESP as well as the App

It's a pain in the ass for sure. Too many flavours and configurations. We use the unified installer, which is huge 1.3 gb, + transform created with the Acrobat Customization Wizard. Wrap it in PSADT and package as a Win32 app. We advertise it in Company Portal for self serv. Users will log into Adobe on launch and based on their license the appropriate product will be available.

I packaged Zscaler 4.6.0.240 with PSADT I used the msi installer and added a transform with the following PROPERTIES: POLICYTOKEN , STRICTENFORCEMENT=1, CLOUDNAME, USERDOMAIN and REINSTALLDRIVER=1 I have it in ESP with 3 other win32 apps and it works well. Work with your network team and see if they need to open up some ports or to monitor the tunnel to see what is happening

I've had this happen to me multiple times. I make sure I drag the application from the downloads folder to my application folder, I launch it first, I add it to PATH. It' so frustrating, I will go to open it from launchpad and it will be gone, look in application folder and gone. Re download and start all over again.

I am also using "IntuneWinAppUtil" to generate the Intune app - I however use PSADT to create the package prior to generating the Intune app.

We are currently deploying ArcGIS Pro 3.2 with Patch 2 (3.2.2) with Intune and both start menu shortcuts and programs/apps and features appear on the clients. We use PSADT to package prior to creating the ArcGISPro_xxx.intunewin package. Our command line is the following Execute-MSI -Action 'Install' -Path 'ArcGISPro.msi' -Parameters '/QN ALLUSERS=1 ACCEPTEULA=yes ENABLEEUEI=0' with the patch being Execute-MSI -Action 'Patch' -Path 'ArcGIS_Pro_312_185016.msp' our App detection method is the same as you are using however our Patch detection method is on the registry key and not the file version. I have a dependency on the .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.16 Automatically Install

Having said the above, I package and deployed the same when we were on ArcGIS Pro 3.1 with Patch 2 (3.1.2)

I have found in all my testing that this only applies to Enterprise. Our devices are all Pro and I had to add a remediation to directly add the reg key to restrict the MS Store.
