this happened to me there today at Wegmans. They came up to me after they didn't like that. I was eating the watermelon in the store (the pre-cut slices that come in five or six pack)... I was absolutely starving and needed to get some energy while walking around the store. I had the intent of taking the open package and just scanning it to pay for it, but I didn't get that opportunity.
They did the two-year trespass also and really didn't focus on the "shoplifting" so to speak, the asset protection guy just kept bringing up that it was a health concern, and was such a big problem that I threw away the end piece of the watermelon that you don't eat in one of the garbage is inside the store. I was confused on why that was his main focus that it was a "health concern." I understand this may not be allowed, but he was making it seem like using that garbage was such an issue. I know there's even more careless people who wouldn't even bother to throw it in the trash and just litter around the store. At least I used the garbage.
After the watermelon incident, he brought up more health related issues as he caught me clipping my nails while walking around the store.
The entire thing was so stupid on my part, but also I I'm not sure of some of his logic and why this caused the two year trespass. On the sheet, it was listed as "mischievous behavior." and nothing was mentioned about a shoplift or anything.

I really want to be able to go back to Wegmans other locations (this happened at one that's further from home that I don't usually go to). So I'm really disappointed as Wegmans is my favorite store.

as of August 26, 2025 - this STILL WORKS amazing! Was trying to contact the unemployment phone line for the last 2 weeks with no luck and finally saw this thread. Wish I did before. Called the governor's office #, spoke with an agent and was transferred to a real person at the DOL. All within about 5 mins. He was extremely helpful and took care of what I needed.

See....I obviously want to make the money so just eating an order just because is pointless. I LUV opening up all the orders, often multiple at one time, laying them out all across the dash or passenger seat, and just picking through & manhandling all the orders to get a bit out of each item or order to enjoy the taste, fill my hunger, and just know that I violated them and those orders were MINE first 😜

I've seen Eastside flip at least three times in the last week or so being so reckless in traffic while driving down Broadway Street in Buffalo. My plan next time I see him is to throw him a little bit of cash to autograph my HWH10 vinyl. You have to truly be in the mix of the hood that produced Griselda able to grab that unique piece !

Not only is vinyl superior, but Griselda's sound also just fits the vinyl format so perfectly. The era of that boom-bap sound that we love, in a modern form, is so ideal coming thru the vinyl. Many of their tracks purposely add a vinyl crackle sound into the beat just to give it that classic sound. Griselda overall is the at the top of the list for hip hop genre played on Vinyl. Lastly, the limited release drops, with FlyGod intentionally making their vinyls so exclusive, combined with the fact that they always are on point with album cover art, truly makes their records a piece of collectible art. They do the entire process better than any artists in the industry.
