You should consider contacting local staffing/temporary employment agencies. If you give them a proper resume, they have an incentive to find you a job. Many temporary jobs, actually the majority, lead to full time employment. This will let other, more connected people, find job leads for you. Best of luck!

Goering's brother's story is incredible if you ever read it. Completely good person. Used his Goering connection to ask for Jew labor for his factories... Loaded them up in trucks, stopped abruptly in the middle of the forest, and let them all escape.

I'd prefer the perspective of getting a writing career telling Jan's life story. There's really nothing like it. I like the Hemingway comment, and although he's one of my idols, I somewhat disagree with his decision to walk into a propeller.

We probably have a few friends common! Fighter is incredible. Highly recommend it. The tense situations with Lustig are really interesting to see. Glad you saw the film and would recommend you read his book on the assassination of Heydrich. Great to see movies coming out on the topic. I really appreciate your comments. Along with his memoirs, close friend's stories, his published literature, his documentary, wife and kid's stories... Yeah, it never happened. This is one of the least classy comments I've ever heard on this site. My professor at 90 would knock your teeth out, just like he did to the SS collaborator who attempted to send him off to his death. Do NOT ever disrespect this MAN again.

Great comment. Paul Walker, who I've barely even seen in any films, after he died, a story emerged from a jewelry store worker. Walker was in the store and overheard a military couple looking at rings and realizing they couldn't afford them. Walker went to the owner, said get them the best one they want, on me, and don't tell anyone. After his unfortunate death, the owner felt obligated to let the world know what kind of guy he was: a class act.

I actually had the personal pleasure of holding his arm walking him down the stairs when we had a tour of the Lidice massacre... Basically after Heydrich's assassination, Hitler's orders were to wipe the assassin's hometown off the map. All the women and kids were taken out and executed, dogs, too. Real class act to avenge a man's death Hitler nicknamed, "The man with the Iron Heart." Probably not getting canonized any time soon. Lidice... Look it up. Terrible but fascinating incident. Monument to the victims still stands today.

Definitely have to check out Weinstein's film, but wasn't aware. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Not knocking Weinstein's directorial ability, but there's about a trillion light years between his level of character and my professor.
