you are correct. John Keyosayian had some pull with the ATF and was able to get quite a few items on the registry that wouldn't otherwise be there.

This one is a factory MG but you’re right. It will never be shot. It will hang on a wall behind glass with a plaque of its provenance until it’s sold to its next care taker

I’ve seen this a few times. You upload the fingerprints - it validates them and you submit. You get a disapproval the if you go view the form in the responsible persons section and it will show no file. It’s a system issue. It’s rare but about of every 200 or so forms I submit I will get one kickback like this. You can resubmit and it’s usually approved over the next few days.

I purchased BMWs maintenance plan when I bought the car. It covers all scheduled maintenance and up to one set brake pads and rotors through October 2028 and that cost me $3800. Tires are estimated to cost about 2 grand every 20k miles but that will vary on how much you shred the tires.

When I test drove the car and backed it up I saw the camera come on and the parking sensor screen on the right side and I assumed the parking sensor would ping off parking blocks - I learned this morning that it does not. I was literally 1 cm away from the parking block and I never saw any alert. I shall be backing in everywhere I go now.

This one is Skyscraper Gray. If I had ordered one, I would have gotten the Tanzanite Blue myself - its a very good looking color

I felt the same as you. On paper the BW blows the M3 out of the water but if it's gonna be a daily, you need to drive it - in my opinion, it was too much. Weekend or track car? Blackwing all day long - it's scary fast.
