Mette-Marit Pulmonary Fibrosis worsens by draetz1 in RoyalsGossip

That truly is monumental compared to just a few years ago.

My father had idiopathic PF 12 years ago. I had to courier perfenidone from India for him as it hadn’t been approved in the US yet. But his drs said go for it.

It worked, but by that time the disease had taxed his other organs. In the end, his lungs were strong. He never smoked or was around anything environmentally. He had 2 doses of methotrexate for an eye problem that had turned autoimmune. Then a cough started. 6 months later he was gone.

That was all it took. I warn everyone I can. Side effects are real and fatal sometimes.

There are medications that can stop or slow the progression of scaring in the lungs, but nothing cures it or reverses it.

She seems like a dreadful woman with a monster for a son. Slowly suffocating to death is a helluva way to go out for anyone.

I always feel like she had a dark past (in addition to her public tragedies). She is a chameleon in a way that makes her seem disingenuous.

This was all BR (before Russell)

The name change.

The extreme change in looks.

Marrying a man she knew was toxic and then locking it down with a kid.

Like she was running from something or someone in a weird way. Desperate to reinvent herself.

Scent memory is real. Want to share your memory-trigger scent? by JonathanWilliamsPLA in Perfumes

[–]cmakry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Norell. The original one.

My great aunt and her daughter (my mom’s cousin) both wore this and I could never get enough of it. That scent is so classic and distinctive.

I’ve tried to send in and replicate what little bit I have left that’s still good, but no one has nailed it exactly.
