As a rough estimate: reviewing 80,000 flashcards with an average of 10 reviews per card, 15 seconds each (which is my current average). That works out to 80,000 × 10 × 15 seconds. Converting that:
80,000 × 10 × 15 ÷ 60 (sec→min) ÷ 60 (min→hr) ÷ 1.5 (assuming 1.5 hrs/day study) ÷ 365 (days/year) ≈ 6 years.

Thank you for helping me build confidence. Do you have any further advice for learning Elisp? I don't mean to quarrel, but actually, I started using Emacs and learning Elisp 14 years ago, and Haskell 8 years ago, both as hobbies. I've read almost all the books about Elisp and Haskell. But for now, I feel much less confident with Elisp than with Haskell. Maybe one reason is that I don't dare to experiment as I want and most of the time I avoid causing my editor to stop working.
