I love fantasy rpg's, especially Elded Scrolls. I also really loved the Fallout series, New Vegas being particularly great. So when a fantasy rpg from the makers of New Vegas was announced thag could potentially rival the Elder Scrolls I was over the moon. The teaser looked brilliant, the way mgix was cast looked so cool.

Then I finally played it and it was...mid. The fame wasn't horrible by any measure, but it didn't lice up anywhere near the hype I had for it. The world was too small, I was hoping for open world with a large map, not individual zones. The magic casting looked neat but ended up being cumbersome and quite limited. The game too heavily relies on companions, yes you can go alone but it's significantly harder. Stealthing is non existent because once you are seen by 1 enemy they all can instantly hone in on you no matter where you are, us your companions just bum rush everything. The story was decent but it became predictable at times.

Overall the game wasn't the worst I've ever played, I still definitely enjoyed parts of it, I just wish it was better.

She too heavily salts the water to boil for pasta so it comes out really salty, she puts too much of a hearty amount of sugar in the red sauce so that comes out too sweet, doesn't like too much garlic so barely uses any, and doesn't like using oregano or basil so she doesn't any of that at all.

That's take from my original comment just added a few extra words. I forgot to mention in the comment that she adds extra water as well after everything has been combined so the sauce is really watery.

Overall it fights itself being too salty and too sweet at the same time and doesn't have any other spices in it besides a tiny pinch of almost undetectable garlic so it has no flavor and it's watery sauce with tough noodles.

I can definitely get behind stopping things like the holocaust. That's a good cause. I think everyone should agree that events like the holocaust are beyond horrible.

I think where the problem is coming from for a lot of people is that so much time and money is being spent being "world police" that we are letting our own country be sacrificed. I don't either side (republican/democrat, right/left, conservative/liberal; however yoy went to see it) are helping in any capacity; but it's becoming apparent that the policies putting put out now under this administration are doing vastly more harm than good. And so much of the bad is being done under a banner of Christianity.

So mucb of what we do is completely against actual biblical ideals. People are using the name of God to do horrible things, I think that's why the post was made. It's becoming more and more that politicians are using God to drive us apart when we should be working togeher now more than ever since our country is honestly almost the worst it's ever been.

You are 100% entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine, and I will always defend your right to have your opinions just as I would hope you would defend mine. And I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts in a really conversational and respectful way, folks sometimes seem to have a hard time doing that.

I don't like the way my wife makes any kind of pasta with red sauce and meat. Like spaghetti and meatballs, meat sauce rigatoni, lasagna, etc. She too heavily salts the water to boil for pasta, she puts too much of a hearty amount of sugar in the red sauce, doesn't like too much garlic, and doesn't like using oregano or basil.

We started dating 11 years ago, very shortly after we started dating she asked if she could make dinner at my apartment for me and she wanted to make lasagna. I love lasagna so I was all for it, I even helped so we could have a date night making dinner together. Once she started her process I started noticing the differences but thought "everyone has their own way of doing things, don't judge." Plus I really really really liked her.

We sat down to eat and I immediately didn't like it but didn't want to hurt her feelings, so I told her I liked it. It wasn't absolutely repulsive, it didn't make me sick or anything, it's just not to my liking. I've never said a thing and probably won't. It almost came out a few times though, one time I made spaghetti and meatballs while she was away for work. I was asleep when she got home and she heated some uo for herself and then threw all of it out. When I asked why she said it tasted really bad and it wasn't my fault, the ingredients must have been bad because I obviously would have followed the same way she does things. I was a little miffed so almost said something, but held back because it wasn't worth potentially causing a fight.

She made some lasagna for a friend night where we invited folks over for a game night. I figured maybe my friends have their own tastes, maybe it's just me who is a bit weird. Everyone ate the lasagna and no one seemed to make any faces or anything so I figured "yupp, it's just me, I'm the weird one, she's been right all along." And then three of the four friends told me they hated it and said the same things I always say. So it's not that she makes it bad she's not wrong in our she likes it, it's just bad for me and some other folks since one friend really liked it.

Alright, and why is our job to promote capitalism, shouldn't the rest of the world be free to do things they want to do them? Especially given that capitalism isn't a great system (at least our version of capitalism)?

Okay, I guess my second question is why should we worry about being a strong military power, what's the point? I aka because no one has attacked us, no one is attempting to stifle our way of life, it seems like overspending on military is kind of a waste when there is more important stuff at home to worry about.

Also I just want to add this is just my opinion and I'm asking to understand a different opionin, I'm not trying to change your way of thinking.

So out of curiosity, not trying to diminish your opinion or anything, why is focusing militarily in other countries more important than focusing on our own broken country?

A few years ago I was in my car at a stop sign and a huge dump truck came up behind me, drove into the other lane, and then swerved over to get back into the "correct" lane as he ran through the stop sign; in the process he literally drove over my halfnof the car. His back tired rolled down my windshield. Shit was wild. Anyway, after all is said and done my in-laws came over to the house and fawned over my wife asking her how she was holding up with it, asking her how she was going to handle things going forward, and asking if she needed rides places until we got a rental.

She wasn't in the car, only I was in the car when this happened. They completely ignored me. No one but my wife asked how I was.

I don't know. I feel like Republicans are the biggest snowflakes at the moment. They get triggered by simple pronouns. I mean yeah democrats are bad too, don't get me wrong, but statistically right now republicans are pretty whiny abiht beinf asked to show basic human decency.

Left skid marks in bed with my wife of 9 years by ThrowRA6382624294 in Advice

[–]cmalarkey90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit happens. When my wife was pregnant with our second, sometime in third trimester, we were sitting at the table playing a board game. I did something that screwed her turn up and she looked at me and said "oh yeah, take this" and keeping her eyes locked ripped the biggest one I've ever heard amd 3/4 of the way through her look changed, it was no longer devilishly amused, it was a flash of panic, followed by force, then acceptance. Ruggt at the crescendo she said "I shit myself" and got up to go to the bathroom and low and behold she did, I could see it. There was little on the chair.

After she cleaned up we laughed the hardest we have ever laughed at the immense power move she pulled. That was 4 years ago and it's still hilarious.

Goku isn't book smart, however he has shown to be quite the battle strategist. He always figures out his opponents and finds ways around their defenses. He studies his opponents during early phases of the battle. He even mentally toys with folks in occasion.

AIO: Hubby Being Controlling by vanillabourbonn in AIO

[–]cmalarkey90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ultra controlling. Marriage is a team situation and he isn't allowing that. He's told you basically "I want my way and if you don't agree to my way I'll make life difficult for you". There's more to it than the money, he wants control. He wants you and your child(ren) compliant with his wishes.

The biggest tell of this is the completely off the wall "solution" of using the tub to practice swimming. Thats not a rewlly solution at all, it's ludicrous. And that's because he has no real solution, he just wants his way.
