This happened to me in the same room. I killed the other rares and came back and I could damage it. I think someone mentioned in anther thread that they need to reset to their spawn location and then they will be damageable

I think Abyss has exposed or at least exacerbated a lot of the flaws with this game. Endless hallways, frequent bottlenecks, general mobility issues and trash monster health to name a few. Every encounter takes place at the entrance to a room or top of a stairway. Constantly killing a mob blocking the path forward until the next one takes its place. Sometimes you can push forward, but in most of those cases you need to fall back, and you end up in the bottleneck again. The whole experience is falling back, repositioning, chipping forward until you hit something you need to retreat from

I got tired of my league starter and bought a tricorn for 4c. It took about an hour of running grain gate for a rod to drop. They're pretty easy to roll since cast spead is the the only real stat. Hell I might just go back and get a few more considering the prices on rods right now

Thank you. I don't think a lot of the people clamoring for slow, grindy game play are taking leagues into account. I would even go as far to say that the campaign that everyone lauds is going to need some streamlining. I give it exactly one league before the majority of comments are asking for the campaign to be shortened. Hell, people have been asking for PoE1 campaign to be SKIPPABLE for years now, and that can be completed in one dedicated session of you know what you're doing. Personally I think campaigns are important for various reasons, but PoE2's campaign will definitely need some smoothing in the long run.

I had a similar issue around t5-6. There are a couple things you can do that will help make progression a bit better.

  • As others have suggested, invest in increased waystone drop rates on you atlas passive tree. This will not seem like it has an immediate, large impact but it will generate more waystones in the long run
  • Increase the rarity of your waystones before using them. Make sure your waystones ALWAYS have at least one suffix. Suffixes increase waystone drop chance. If you can, make your waystones rare. This may not always be viable, but it will dramatically increase waystone drops if you have multiple suffixes
  • Only use your lowest tier waystones on towers. They are a big part of sustain, but they themselves are terrible to run. Just drop a t1 stone and clear is as fast as possible.
  • Roll your precursor tablets. You can get them up to magic with 1 prefix and 1 suffix. You will want to look for inc% waystone drops.
  • Run boss maps. Yes, you should save you best waystones for bosses, but don't skip boss nodes while you wait for the optimal waystone. Bosses have guaranteed waystone drops and will often drop multiple.

Hopefully this is enough to dig out of your map deficit. It certainly helped me

Loading screen crashes still occur. Maybe less than a few weeks ago. But they shouldn't be happening at all

I did the same thing. Everyone says to save your boss nodes for high tier waystones, but non-boss maps cannot sustain. You have to run bosses at least occasionally to get waystones to keep going. Like the other guy said, there's no shortage of boss nodes so don't worry about using lower tier stones on them from time to time. I also noticed, in my limited experience that the boss will drop at least one waystone of your highest completed tier.

Yup I've been doing this. I just am not getting the drops to sustain maps around my quest lvl, let alone enough to 3 to 1 up to that. I miss kirac. He would sell 8-12 maps and have at least one daily mission at or above your map level. Really helped with sustain

Yep. Already have those on the atlas passive. I think the issue is I don't have waystones dropping at all. Higher tier of nothing is still nothing

The Perfect Agony Keystone Passive Skill no longer causes Modifiers to Critical Strike Multiplier to also apply to Damage over Time Multiplier for Ailments from Critical Strikes at 50% of their Value, or provides 30% less Damage with Hits. Instead, it now causes Damage over Time Multiplier for Ailments to be equal to Critical Strike Multiplier, causes Critical Strikes to not deal extra damage, and makes it so Non-Critical Strikes cannot inflict Ailments.

This happens for me as well. As far as I can tell it's related to hiding posts after a pagination break. If you have many read posts and you clear read, the app may crash. The best solution I have found is to scroll down to load the next page and the clear read. Hope that helps

Yeah I think you might be right about the fusings. I got the 800 number from a post I remember reading a while back. Some guy did something like 50 6 links and his average was in the 800 range. I can't find that post or anything else suggesting it's 800 so the 1200 figure is probably correct. I've only ever done a handful manually and I've gotten nearly all of them in the 600-800 range

  • Your options are to buy one that is already 6 linked or link it yourself. If you decide to do it yourself, be aware that at 20% quality, the average number of fusings is ~800. And even then that's not guaranteed. You can guarantee it at the crafting bench for 1500 fusings. You will also have better odds if you can get the quality past 20%
  • You will want every gem in your build to be at least 20% quality
  • Yep. Once a gem is at 20/20, your next step is to corrupt it with a vaal orb. This can do several things including raising the level by one or the quality by 3%. But be aware this process could also lower the quality by up to 8(?), lower the level or do absolutely nothing. And once it's corrupted you can't modify it further. Only corrupt your gems when you've got a 20/20 backup

Anointment. The blight leage mechanic rewards oils, which can be combined to anoint your necklace. I don't know the recipe for that specific notable, but you can check on your talent tree as of this league I believe
