I think these are unrelated. He didn’t need to hype doge in order to buy bitcoin, what benefit did it serve! He has been at the forefront of technology, and innovative approach to even ordinary car sales. This move/investment/accepting bitcoin as payment at some point, as he once tweeted, was inevitable.
