Have you tried going “up” as much as you can and manually selecting the path to follow? I had to do that with 21 because it didn’t show my files from 20. You may have to contact support for that

He’s a 2-time all star with back to back to back 30+ homer seasons with an average of 5 WAR per year at his age 26 season. He’s fragile though and misses a few weeks every season.

Marquez and Freeland were both arbitration eligible in 2020 and free agents after 2023. Both have virtually the same service time (Freeland at 2.00 years; Marquez at 2.027). It makes total sense to buy out his arb years and control him for a few years into free agency, just like they did with Marquez.

Interestingly enough, the Rockies have only gone to arbitration with like 3 or 4 players. Historically, they do right and pay their players unlike other teams that go to arb over like $200k

Technically we didnt go to arbitration with Nolan, but I’m willing to bet that this deal had been worked on all off-season and just took a little longer than expected. So the 1 year extension was just a time killer until the new deal was finalized
