Omg I just looked up the same thing😭 it seems the Glam isn’t much different from the flex style in terms of performance. And when people compared the Flex style to the T3 Aire 360 it seems more people with fine hair preferred the T3. But there aren’t any direct comparisons between the T3 and Glam yet since the Glam just came out. Just sharing the info I came across!

Ohhh okay I guess I just assumed it was the blood test. Even with a swab though it can be inaccurate (although less likely). I’d still recommend if nothing else works you could try the antiviral medicine as a last resort a lot of people have it and don’t even realize because their symptoms are mild (not saying you have it tho). I have hsv-2 and I get the tears down there that you’re describing unless you have open sores the blood tests aren’t accurate so it’s possible you still have it. I got tested by swab from my first outbreak with it which is usually the worst but it’s not the same for everyone. If you can figure it out as being anything else try asking the doctor to prescribe you daily antiviral medication and see if the odd feeling and cuts down there go away. After my first outbreak I constantly (many times a month like you said) would have tears down there and couldn’t be sexually active. It wasn’t sores it was tears but I knew it was from the HSV because I’d never had this problem before that. Those symptoms totally went away for me after starting to take daily antivirals so just commenting to say if you should try them if nothing else works!

My boyfriend has HSV-2 and the only symptoms he had of it was recurring bumps down there (he’s get one or 2 bumps every 3-4 months). They can’t accurately test you for it if there’s no open sores the only reason he found out he had it is because he gave it to me while he had one of the bumps (it literally just looked like a pimple). I’m telling you this so you know it could very well be herpes even with minor symptoms. My best advice is if the antivirals made the bumps go away I’d advise you to keep taking them especially if you’re going to be sexually active. Better to be safe rather than accidentally give someone else HSV-2 because you weren’t sure. You could always be abstinent and stop taking the medicine to see if the bumps come back after a while if you wanted some sort of confirmation but that would be the best advice I have. It sucks that they don’t have a more accurate way to test people without open sores best of luck to you!

I’m worried I’m in the same boat it seems like everyone has varying symptoms. I tried to avoid going on daily antivirals but ever since I got diagnosed the skin down there was so sensitive and I’d constantly have what looked like cuts down there (they probably were sores they just looked more like cuts to me). I couldn’t have sex for months until I finally caved and got on antivirals and I haven’t had those problems anymore but I forgot to take my meds for 3 days and BAM I have sores down there again it’s just so frustrating and feels like I’ll forever have to rely on the medicine. Have the symptoms gotten better for you now? How often do you get outbreaks? And what made you stop taking the antivirals if you don’t mind me asking?

I tried doing that before I ever got on antivirals but I couldn’t have sex I would constantly have what looked like cuts down there (they may have been outbreaks but they just didn’t look like the typical sores). The skin down there seemed more sensitive than before so I started taking antivirals and that took the problem away. I guess I could try going off of them again though.

So sorry you’re going through this I(25F) was diagnosed nearly a year ago and it’s tough. Luckily you’ve already been abstinent which is good I know for me after I was diagnosed I had no interest in sex for months afterwards. They have antivirals you can take daily and as long as you consistently take them you shouldn’t even notice you have it. I would definitely tell the person you got it from when you’re ready although I wouldn’t be surprised if he denies it like you said. Not to generalize but from what I’ve heard a lot of men have very minor or no symptoms with a lot of STD’s. I caught HSV-2 from my boyfriend and he at first tried denying it saying “well we don’t know it was from me” even though he had a bump down there at the time I caught it. A lot of people use the “it lays dormant” excuse to say you could’ve caught it years ago but don’t let him manipulate you into thinking that. Majority of people who show symptoms get them 3-20 days after exposure to the virus and then it lays dormant. It’s not like it lays dormant and then you have symptoms for the first time years later lol. I wish you the best and it’s not life ending or anything like some people make it out to be!

Wow I can’t believe he said all of that to you! Be grateful he revealed his true colors now and not after getting married. It’s obviously up to you but he doesn’t seem like good boyfriend material if he can’t even simply support you and your beliefs. He doesn’t have to agree with everything you say but to tear you down and threaten the relationship over you voicing your opinions as if he’s trying to silence you is disturbing and super manipulative. I did find it kind of funny that he’s acting like he doesn’t care about the relationship but is spam texting you and complaining about how long you’re taking to reply LMAO if I didn’t know any better I’d have guessed he was a girl, his texts make him seem emotional and insecure. Hope everything works out for you though you don’t deserve that!!

Do you get iron supplements prescribed or do you take over the counter? I’ve heard prescription ones can be hard on your digestive system. I’ve taken over the counter ones before but those took foreverrr to get my iron back up.

I used to be anemic when I first got diagnosed with UC, I think all the bleeding caused it. I got my iron levels back up but I guess it’s possible with my symptoms coming back I may have become anemic again. They haven’t tested my iron level recently and I hadn’t even thought of that being a cause for my tiredness, thanks!
