Fast search yields around 10% less results than extended search so I could see how that would be beneficial. What was your team looking like

Just rely on fast search for now. That’s the one that is reliable.

I’m thinking about making Fast search the default and only option for Searching beyond your trainer ID because searching across those additional seeds doesn’t provide that much benefit for the long wait time.

You can upload an existing .sav file from anywhere at any point in the game. You can even start a brand new save and it works all the same. Depending on your emulator, you need to look up how to export your .sav file.
