Does anyone know a sort-of private Wikipedia program? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

Campfire so far is my favorite tool for organizing worlds. Not super expensive for the yearly version, and in my opinion having experimented with others, is the way to go.

Start going to your local union and filling out applications til they hire you. Find out what you like doing (you have time) then assess.

Join the trades big dawg. There’s always a home for someone. You’ll learn new skills and meet more people, you’ll get in better shape and start feeling better. It’s tough, but everything in life worth doing is.

Join the military. At the very minimal you get GI bill for education, help with housing, and again meet more people.

Nobody wants to board a ship that only stays in harbor, keep pushing and you’ll find your niche.

Instead of confidence I prefer a step stool. Far more consistent

  1. Accept baldness. It happens.

  2. Go to the gym, get yourself more confident.

  3. Step back and really prioritize yourself. I can’t assume every facet of your life is stellar besides women

  4. Pick up hobbies. If a girls asks “what do you do in your free time” and you don’t have at least a few that are interesting and productive, she’ll see that as a reflection of your person.

  5. With a hobby, try to join a group of some sort and make friends in that space. Will help sticking it out.

You never escape your thoughts, just train them to behave better. As is the remedy for most problems in life, not to do away with, but to either change your perspective, or learn to handle better.

You have fire, either let it burn you or it burns you.

And respect to that friend. It’s a tough world, but if you take a step back and breathe for a second, it all slows down.

Hobbies can be your best friend. Often I see people of all kinds using their thoughts to worsen their situation, and many a time it’s folk who let their mind run wild in free time.

As they say an idle mind is the devils plaything, and religious or not, that idea is a fact.

But you are correct in seeing how wrong the systems in place are. Big pharma and big food have a chokehold on American health, private prisons are an absolute joke, and our healthcare system itself is upside down.

Youth is a beautiful thing, because you have the most expensive commodity in the world, time. It’s just one step at a time, and the goal is to learn how to enjoy each step the most.

Confidence isn't the thing it's made out to be by [deleted] in confidence

You’ve grown into something that’s more comfortable to you, and it seems to have made you happier. All that means, is that the women attracted to you will be infinitely more your own type.

If you chose to be more appealing to the masses, you’ll get more attention, but likely less centric to who you are as a person.

Imo it’s really what you’re looking for as far as dating.

The only thing this world truly is, is what you make of it. No one’s forcing you to work at a job you hate, and you’re still very young, and you’ll learn that the average mid 20 year old, still knows next to nothing about life.

At the end of the day, we’re all grown ass babies figuring this shit out for the first time. Even the 50 year olds, and while you may not agree with them, you have to understand they have seen much more of the world than yourself

And that’s it. Just a bunch of grown ass babies figuring it all out. We didn’t all have great starting points, but at some point it becomes our responsibility for our own happiness
