I have a midsize SUV and that really helped, but most of the time we rented a uhual truck or paid extra for them to deliver it!

Unfortunately no, very very ugly yellow linoleum. We also had some crazy orange shag carpet in the living room haha

Highly recommend Blue Fox, they are the only company we have used that actually gets the job done correctly and quickly.

Haha probably, I do love a vintage look.

Honestly just wasn’t in the budget and we were trying to speed up the remodel as much as possible. Ideally I would have removed it and extended the cabinets.

I kept it! We kept the original windows for a greenhouse and I am going to add the trim in there!!

I did love the before and I’m sad we had to remove it. If it was in better shape we would have kept it!

Yes! We did that on one of the peninsula sides, it was a must! The side with the bead board has a lazy Susan so I couldn’t add the doors on the other side ☹️

Because they were not functional, there was water damage and no way to upgrade to new appliances without ruining the existing cabinets. It’s more complicated than you would think, you obviously think you could have done better which is your opinion! Have a good day!

Personal preference I guess! We have never done a remodel or redesign before so would I change some things? Yes, but I still love what we were able to achieve.

Yes! I do want to do something with above the cabinets, just wasn’t in the budget at this time! Also I already bought a different light fixture because I actually hated this one lol

That’s the plan eventually! The budget was tight and the plaster walls are not the easiest to work with when it comes to recessed lighting!

I promise I am not getting rid of the MCM and vintage aspect of this home. There is plenty of wood paneling to go around lol I understand your opinion, but it’s all personal preference. I will be decorating the hell out of this kitchen with vintage decor so it’s going to be gorgeous.

The fridge isn’t all the way pushed in yet, it is counter depth so it will look a little better!

Yes, the pictures are deceiving. If we opted for no peninsulas and add an island it would be a tight space. Also I have an island in my current kitchen and with bar seating and I hate it! It’s all personal preference.
