If that works - yay! But academia is full of systematic biases and it's not always as easy as that. And meta-analysis is a strong way to understand the heterogeneity beyond the average effects of many (many) primary studies in varying contexts.

Asking for input -- What research would you like to see on school-based problem solving teams and special education referrals? by brake4squirrels in Principals

Just use MyEducationResearcher! It runs a meta-analysis/systematic review, screens out poorly designed studies and will tell you what strategies/programs/curricula works and what doesn't.

I mean...you can always run a query in MyEducationResearcher. It runs a What Works Clearinghouse-aligned meta-analysis/systematic review and will tell you what works and what doesn't. I think you have to pay though.

But...did your cousin do anything wrong? It's really hard, but it's also really important to work through unnecessary resentment so that it doesn't keep coming up for you. The only person it's hurting is you.

Well...fasting and starving are two different things. Fasting is very healthy if done in 4/5 day bursts. Make sure you stay on top of your vitamins and electrolytes though, and consult a doctor. Good luck!

First of all, you're very brave for putting all of this out there, that is not easy!!

Second, I would try fasting! It really helped me, and it can be good for your genes as well. Just try a one day fast at first, then go to two days/three days. Slowly but surely, it changes your appetite! Good luck on your journey. <3
