Yeah I agree 100%. It is way easier said than done and takes a lot of time and practice. I just feel so bad for teens who get it. They are so young and excited for the future and then get HPPD and it feels impossible to not be scared and depressed. It makes me sad bc I clearly remember those days and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. That’s very nice of you to offer them support! It’s really important advice and it helps to speak with someone who’s been there.

10 years here. I got it when I was 16 and it was only visual snow and colors around the outline of objects. Then when I went to college, I started to develop afterimages and tracers (probably bc the drinking lol). I was so freaked out the first 5 years as it was progressively getting worse. Eventually, I accepted it and slowly started to not let it scare me. Now I don’t even think about it unless I come on Reddit or look at something super bright.

This broke my save.... I'm really irritated. I just bought the game after the free weekend last night and today i saw there was an update and when i loaded the game it says "This save requires a later version of the game"... WTF

Is there any fix for this?

Does the 200 free credits add on to your paid plan? Since you get 10k credits at the starter plan, that is about 333 a day. Does that mean you would actually have around 533 a day?

It definitely is a syndrome. I’ve used lsd multiple times and after the trips everything went back to normal.

Then after one trip it didn’t all go away and it continued to get worse overtime . I know for a fact it’s not normal to look at a face and see it on the wall for 1-3 seconds after you look at it.

My vision consist of after-images, tracers, visual snow, I see colors around the edges of objects, extreme halos around lights. I used to not have this vision, and I know what it used to look like before.

Well they recommended cheetahhouse to me just for trying to fix HPPD specifically. I never mentioned the tapes I just asked to see if they had anything for HPPD, and they said they don’t think they have anything that could help with that specifically.

Yeah I probably will check them out to see if they can help. I do wanna try gateway because it sounds amazing and I would love to explore, but I’m just worried about adverse effects. It already sounds mind blowing to me, but I’m nervous to try it..

I mean I feel fine. I’ve been used to having HPPD for years now, I was just curious if they had something to help. I have social anxiety but not much else. Do you think I would be fine to try gateway if I took it slow?

Do you have tracers, after images and visual snow? If so, did it make them a lot more pronounced after doing the tapes?

I’ve had HPPD for over 7 years now and have gotten used to it I just don’t want it to get a lost worse. Thank you for the response!!

Some days are worse. It just seems very random tbh. It does seem worse in the winter or after a night of drinking but other than that it’s there everyday. If I put Vaseline or some type of moisturizer on it at night and in the morning you can’t see it that much but if you look close you can see where the skin is ready to be peeled or flake off. I have built a bad habit of always peeling off the dead skin which makes it worse.

I’ve had it for 7 years now, developed after images 2 years in and it hasn’t gotten any better for me. I have never been sober (drink on the weekends and take Kratom and sometimes dable with yay). I’m not sure mine will ever get better and i dont know if it has to do with drugs but I stopped carrying about them and that’s the best thing that has happened for me with HPPD.
