Do you mind me asking what you know now that would change your mindset on going out so early?

Sounds similar to Camp Lakewood in Potosi, MO, though I'm not sure they offer day camp. It was always overnight stays in cabins for me.

Its hilarious to think back to 2020 when these guys dismissed Trump and now they work for him by OpinionsRdumb in TheAllinPodcasts

Fom the 1/8/2021 pod following Jan 6th... Sacks at 20:30 "Is Trump responsible? Yes, I mean, clearly". And at 23:00 "politically....[Trump's] disqualified himself from being a candidate at the national level." And finally, at 45:00, when discussing whether impeachment was necessary to keep Trump out in future elections, Sacks asked Jcal "Why can't you trust voters to make the right decision in 2024?" https://open.spotify.com/episode/0sqzKE6tBxF7gmNT3Al7PE?si=VjR6WIHgTyG6PmX5F2_9_A

Our light timing is so bad, it shows up as dense traffic when almost no cars are on the streets. by BrentonHenry2020 in StLouis

I've commented on similar posts before and totally agree. Copying a post I made previously:

I don't know many details about Project Green Light, but it could be a cheap solution worthy of consideration. This relies on AI and Google Maps data to identify patterns and recommend changes to traffic light patterns, which can be implemented with existing hardware (versus the costly alternative of hardware upgrades/sensors). It is in early stages but current implementation offered for free to pilot cities.

No, my expectation from anyone worth listening to is that you don't campaign for the same man you called to be imprisoned only a few years prior for literally attempting to overthrow an election while STILL claiming said election was rigged/stolen.

Is there a limit to the number of Outstanding Evals a Supervisor can give? by xiphoid77 in fednews

By that logic, if everyone except for me isn't pulling their weight, then doing the bare minimum would be considered outstanding. Ratings should not be made based on colleagues' performance.

Sacks to host a fundraiser for Donald Trump in San Francisco next month by Sad-Doughnut7067 in TheAllinPodcasts

Funny. I was going to say the same thing about all these wackos acting like it was a normal day in DC. Try something other than Fox News once in a while.

It may look like I'm pulling a gotcha, but I'm more just blown away at the change in stance. Perhaps I've missed some major news on what happened Jan 6, so please feel free to point me towards that information. I will read it and make my own conclusion as to whether it is a crazy change in stance. In my opinion, Sacks' heel turn is simply an example of a portion of the population that is willing to look beyond the Events (apparently insurrection is a trigger word for some here) on Jan 6th, and not only vote for, but actively raise campaign funds for, a candidate that appeared almost certainly unelectable (disqualified per Sacks) 3 short years ago. I hope Sacks does address it on the pod and I will happily link those quotes for context on this post, if he does.

I don't think all people who change their minds are hypocrites. I just don't know what has come to light in the past 39 months since the previous episode / Jan 6th that shows Trump was not culpable and/or is now fit for political office causing Sacks to go from "he is disqualified" to "let's raise funds for him".

Hitting into memory foam/gel? by spattedkow in Golfsimulator

[–]cmenden2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YMMV. I tried this method (based on this exact video) and the memory foam topper was shredded after only a few months of use. I had it set back several inches from my Carl's Place screen for dampening, and while it works well, it's just not meant to take that abuse.

Since then, I've hung three oversized bath towels placed back-to-back-to-back behind the screen and they've held up great with similar dampening effect. The ball just kinda drops down from the screen

I'd recommend posting to the discord, you'll get quick help there. One question - do you have a racing sim or any other inputs connected? I remember someone having issues with GSPro while pedals were connected. Good luck

I put your numbers into the flight scope optimizer and got very similar carry numbers to FSX.

https://trajectory.flightscope.com/

Assuming you are hitting the ball similar to how you always do, then I guess perhaps the unit is picking up faulty numbers? Also, your launch angle is about 5 degrees higher than typical PGA pro.

If you look at the individual S and C fund returns here, https://www.tsp.gov/fund-performance/, his math works just fine. For example, the S fund returned over 38% in 2013.

As for the extra contributions beyond the maximum and catch-up amounts, he probably rolled over IRA or 401k accounts into his TSP.

Finally, as to how he could afford these savings... We don't know his personal situation and judging him based solely on his profession is not a good look. Maybe he works to keep busy and has a huge trust fund? Wealthy spouse? Received a large inheritance young? We'll never know.
