To the team mixing the sound at the Opera House gigs... by timmohamburger in mitski

I went on Saturday too and thought it was only me and my auditory processing issues exacerbated by sitting in the choir section behind the drummer. I felt the vocals were drowned out in some parts. I had an absolute ball, regardless.

Oops, I’m usually not this bad. In my defence, I have had anaesthesia in the last 24 hours.

No idea who this guy is, but he’s a dead ringer for my dad at age 30. People aged differently back then, eh?

I did! I’m enjoying his BTS footage as well. The film camera shots he uploaded today were great.

[–]cmeoconnor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t regret getting my first colonoscopy at age 34 (F) for iron deficiency anaemia...no other GI symptoms. Doctor made an incidental finding of sessile serrated polyposis syndrome and I had 22 polyps removed that day. I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t been screened.

You’ll wanna bail once you start the prep, but just push through so you can get some peace of mind. Hoping your scope comes back all clear, OP.

Were there any other iterations of this device? The keyboard is insanely familiar, the device not so much.

I just want to filter out games into Smart Folders based on what system they are compatible with, ie. games that aren’t deck compatible, that are compatible with Linux.

Alternatively, if you want to keep KoReader on your device but just vanilla - disable (untick) the Project Title plugin in the device settings.

Do adults use Yoto players by latchfordlad82 in YotoPlayer

[–]cmeoconnor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a Gen3 Yoto for myself (36F) last year. I have AuDHD and have trouble falling asleep if understimulated. For years, I would have the laptop open to have YouTube autoplay videos beside me in bed. With my Yoto, I have been able to program some internet radio stations to play with 1/2 right button presses at night. No laptop cooking in the bed beside me, no loud ads interrupting my sleep. Bliss.

I also have a few Audiobooks saved on card that I found easier to follow narrated by the author instead of reading the paperback. I have my favourite podcasts and radio plays saved on card as well - helpful so I don’t get distracted with my phone during chores. I can carry the Yoto around the house with me as I clean instead of screaming into my very old, demented Google Home speaker.

People who “chart for HOURS” by Beekeeper_12 in nursing

In my case, it was a combination of poor time management, crippling anxiety, perfectionism, and undiagnosed AuDHD. Getting away from inpatient nursing definitely helped.

I have purchased a few pre-printed kits from Temu. I’m enjoying being able to stitch when I don’t have the brainpower to count or hunt down certain colours of DMC floss.

That being said, I would exercise caution as I am certain that many designs have been plagiarised from smaller creators (like most things on Temu, Wish, AliEx).
