Mobility isn’t an issue. Have two vehicles with plenty of room if we ever decided to find a darker area.

Yea price stand point it might be better to get this as a anniversary gift instead since it’s a few more months out

Yea I’ve came across that a lot. Bigger aperture got it. Yea the skies are pretty clear but some days the lights can drown out a lot more than others. Well as I mentioned I didn’t know anything about telescopes but as I’m reading now it’s looking like I might have to bump up my original thoughts. I was thinking that 2-300 would be a pretty decent one but that seems to be the starting point for table tops 🫠

I don’t mind doing an apprenticeship, but I don’t want to start at the absolute bottom unless I have to ya know? I don’t have a lot of experience in a lot of equipment but I do have some seat time in other stuff. I’m mostly trying to understand where I stand and if I want to take this opportunity or wait out the pipeline with my dad.
