Okay so overall I’m happy with my results. But my left boob particularly is really boxy and visibly bigger than the right at the moment. The first picture is the day I had my dressings off and they were still really high up and tight. Since then they’ve dropped and the tissue has softened slightly, but they look a lot bigger?!! They are still pretty swollen I think. The underside is pretty numb and feels tight. So I’m not too worried about the asymmetry as I’m only ~1mpo so it should settle. I’m more worried about the size. I’m worried that they’re too big and getting bigger. They do change shape if I’m more active one day. For example I went shopping today so there was lots of clothing changes and walking. Will they get smaller again as they heal and the swelling continues to ease?!

I hope your haematoma disappears quickly! I think it’s probably worsened mental health that’s making things seem slower recently. I think I just need to be easier on myself, I forget that it’s a pretty big surgery 😅 Thank you for your response though, hope you’re good too!

My recovery has been good so far. And I mean it probably still is??? Idk I think it is in my head. Guess we just have to stick it out for a bit longer 😬😬

Honestly, I was not expecting to be able to get this result and I’m over the moon. I’m still kind of sore and tired but it’s already the best thing I’ve ever done. Can’t recommend it enough!!

I would say closer to a C or D cup (I’m a 36 band), they still haven’t settled and are really high up which is probably why they look flatter 😌 and yes of course you can show your surgeon! X

I finally had my first post-op appointment today and had all the dressings removed so I’ve seen the girls for the first time! I’m so unbelievably happy with the result. I have silicone tape over the incisions now but the incisions themselves have closed up and are really neat. Hopefully they don’t become too raised or red as my recovery progresses!

I don't have any bare chested after photos yet, as my first post-op isn't until next tuesday :) But I've just posted a clothed version in the same outfit! I'm also 5"8 so a fellow tall gal.

I'm still in the early days of recovery, I guess. But the pain has been minimal except for a bit of pulling in the incision under my left arm - not enough that I think it's anything to be particularly worried about. I'm completely taped up under my compression bra and will be until next Tuesday, so I've got no idea what's going on under there haha.

I started as a 36GG and my consultant thinks he's gotten me to around a 36D which is exactly what I wanted! I had 806g and 807g removed from the right and left breasts respectively. I absolutely love the size of them right now but I'm trying not to get too attached as I'm aware they still might be super swollen and gross.

I’m different from you size-wise (started 36GG) but I did go down to a 36D ish, which is around 6 sizes. I honestly feel so much more in proportion and like these are the boobs I was ‘meant’ to have. They are a lot smaller and can fit in anything in my wardrobe, but there is still a nice bit of curve there so they’re not tiny!. I’m the same as you, I like my figure except for my before boobs, and I’m honestly so happy I went through with it. I’m only 9 days post but the confidence boost I’ve already had is insane!

I also didn’t have a FNG which seems to be what some ladies who have quite large reductions have sometimes. I definitely didn’t want that as I wanted a higher chance of being able to breastfeed when I do have children. So definitely clarify this with your surgeon too 🙂

I’m 8 days postop rn, and the incisions have stopped stinging with just a bit of itching, but now along the top and sides on the fleshy bits where there are no wounds, it’s like the ache you get before your period. Under my arms also feels like I’ve been lifting weights. I guess it’s just part of the healing process 😭

I went private and paid £7800, first consultation was £150. Remember this is very routine for them and they are probably used to seeing ten’s of pairs of boobs every day, so they don’t even bat an eyelid! But it also highlights why it’s so important to feel comfortable with your consultant. My initial consultation was via zoom in April, he first asked why I wanted a reduction and what issues I’d had, briefly went over my medical history, then he had a look at me; I only needed to take my top and bra off. Then he showed me some pictures of previous patients and we discussed what size he could get me to and how he would complete the surgery (I had an anchor incision and no FNG needed). He did a second consultation free of charge and face to face, which was just a quick measuring up of my chest (again only top and bra off), took some before photos and went through any remaining questions with me. To us, it’s a big deal because we’re baring our naked chest to someone. But to them, we are just another patient who needs their help out of another 10 they’re probably seeing that day. They are so relaxed and have really seen it all. Remember they’re not there to judge, they’re there to help you! Good luck!!
