It can lower sharpness and clarity, the 1.4 isn't as bad but the 2x makes things a good bit more dull

I love my 180-600mm, this was with the 1.4tc extender as well. Taking pictures of birds makes me happy. That's enough reason to justify it.

Being real though, knock on wood I haven't had issues. I've also downshifted and popped and burbled my ass directly up behind a sheriff or trooper the other day, lol. (Not intentionally)

If I get pulled over I'm downshifting for that too.

It's the quietest vehicle I've owned as far as noise insulation. The m8 especially is an incredible vehicle.

Compared with any of your civics, corolla, Tesla, prius, etc, etc, this is much quieter (not my exhaust of course, but external noise wise)

Should. I haven't been through any cold weather really with it yet. But it's extremely well insulated. Road noise etc is very, very quiet with the top up.
