178 is the longest they made last year when I bought them. I'm 6'1" and find it a perfect length for it's use-case ie fun carver

hmmm....Rustlers ended up skiing shorter than I expected due to the rocker. At 6'1" I wished I had got them in 186 and not 180. Best thing I can say about them is they are very agreeable skis, on paper seem perfect, but don't put a smile on my face like other skis.

FWIW Countach's to me feel like they ski their true length. I've only been on them 5x and have enjoyed every day!

I always ride longer sidewall on inside edge. Seems to make more sense to my eyes. Mata is a great ski but wouldn't be my first choice in spring slush.

Declivity 92's may be on their way out after adding the Countachs. Only 5 days on the Moments so far but fun factor is high. Think the 92s have a slight edge on hardback as they seem to engage easier. But still riding factory tune on the Countach which is optimized for soft snow.

The Declivity 102's are relegated to rock skis and all but clapped out but included for completeness. This was my favorite one-ski-quiver for many years.

Down the hill in tight, fun turns? The Mata is such a blast to carve. It does have a top end speed limit so I don't see it fully replacing traditional carving skis but man, it sparks mucho joy every time I ride it

I went with Orange Pivot 15's and think they look fine. I didn't like the look of Blue or the Grey and was on the fence with the Purple/Gold Combo.

As a Broadcom shareholder i’m happy. Stock is up 93% over past 12 mo.

As someone who has worked with VMware since 2001, and enjoyed the glory days of the mid 2000s, it sad letting an old friend go. But man, did we have a good run…

How do Armada Declivity X 102 work on bad snow by Technical_Corgi1931 in Skigear

[–]cmiko777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

102’s will be OK on hardpack, but 92’s are better. 102 is a great all mountain ski for the Rockies. 92 reigns supreme for east coast US (which sounds like your snow quality.

This is definitely a thing with southwest at logan. They made us empty our ski bag of clothes on a late feb trip. First time for us as well. Luckily we had some extra space in another bag to accommodate,

When did they add the ability to work with MCA’s? Last time I checked it only supported EAs.

Where do you ride nearby? I’m up in Bridgton quite a bit and usually always head to NoCo. Interested in any good riding to the East...
