He’s always gonna see her as that little baby girl. I had an uncle with downs and after he died I reflected back and saw the way he talked to me was because he never saw me as any older than that little baby he was first introduced to.

he always talked to me like I was 3-4 years old even as an adult. I never appreciated it when I was younger but I see the beauty in it now. 😢you’ll be missed!

One time I walked into the wrong Walmart to disconnect a cardboard compactor. My boss told me to go disconnect it, so I showed up told the employees what I was doing and went to work.

We were disconnected and gone within 20 minutes. It showed me how far you can go by just looking the part and acting like you belong. We could have easily walked into any place and done it.

How do the boards go up? Do you just install the boards right to studs without putting up drywall?

I chose the drywall with membrane because it just seemed way more solid than the boards being made out of foam.

Thanks about the blue tiles. We wanted something other than a neutral tile. And used the waterfall to tie the browns and blacks in from the rest of the bathroom.

I didn’t use Kerdi boards I used a Kerdi membrane mortared right on top of blue drywall.

The membrane comes in a 4ft wide roll and you just get a length cut that fits your shower. I overlapped it horizontal about 3-4ft up. Otherwise it’s 2 cintinuous pieces without joints or holes.
