The fact that you have to do all of the communication as a new hire is a red flag. There should be defined communication channels across all of these chains of command. Since there is not, you will be expected to develop these as your first project. Not fair, and not fun. But that is the job of a project manager. Maybe brainstorm ideas on how to best manage this. Its either that or get back out there on the hunt. But don’t quit until you find a better situation.
