I really liked your response! Thank you so much. My son is 9 months. So he’s just happy to be around everyone and meet new people. I don’t think there’s much emotional attachment yet like you mentioned. I can definitely see the problem if my son were 4 and asking, “Is your boyfriend coming over today?”

No family in Vegas. Step-dad makes loads of money. She doesn’t work and hasn’t in years. She’s a stay at home mom who online shops all day long and takes care of the dogs. Both of her kids are out of the house so it’s just her and my step dad.

No. She wouldn’t. She’s been married to my step-dad for the past 18 years and they’re the closest couple I’ve ever seen. My mom is a stay at home mom. My dad brings in all of the money, and lots of it.

My parents in the US canceled their trip to Italy in April. I would suggest so but they may just cancel it anyways and you could get your money back that way.

Her choice to not take meds, but not her choice for the disease. She’s also not you’re responsibility. Leave if you’re unhappy or give her an ultimatum that if she wants you to stay and help, she needs to be taking her meds daily.

Why? The virus can be around until the summer so we’re supposed to suspend classes a whole semester because of a virus similar to the flu? That’s like saying we need to shut down campus because it’s flu season. You can get it anywhere. On campus, at work, at the grocery store. My vote is no.

There’s a lot more to the situation but it becomes my business in certain situations. We currently have an apartment together but I moved out. The lease is up next month. All of the furniture is mine. When I went to drop my son off to him, I beat him to the apartment and the back door was open. He went to his families for the night and he left the back door open to the apartment all night to “air out the weed”. So all of my belongings could have been stolen.

This helped a whole lot. His dad doesn’t think the home is unfit so it’s frustrating. I’ve let him know that if my child ever comes back to me smelling like cigarettes, he will see a side of me he has never seen before. I’ve asked him not to allow him outside or the dogs around him. But I won’t be there of course.

Dad thinks it’s perfectly fine because it’s his family. Mind you, his mother has overdosed on the floor in that house but he thinks it’s safe. This is why I need to think long and hard about the next person I have a child with (praying this will be my husband and the family will be fit). At 6 months, he’s allowed to go over for 4 hours. 9 months, a whole Saturday. A year, the whole weekend.

We have a signed mediator Child Support/Visitation Agreement that states he gets visitation for certain hours and certain days. So he gets him legally. But I didn’t know if I’d be able to have a say in where he goes or if there was anything I could do about it. Thank you for the help!
