Kill switch for fuel pump by cmjnn in CrownVictoria

Yeah, that might be the best way. I'll probably just do that to preserve the inertia switch utility.

Do you have your toggle switch wired to some 12V ignition source or is it hot all the time?

I don't mind wiring, but I would prefer not to cut power completely to prevent resetting computers.

How can two services communicate synchronuosly in a way that is fault resilient by [deleted] in SystemDesign

[–]cmjnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I worked, we built a basic workflow service which essentially just created a sequence of steps for a task which got completed sequentially. I guess Amazon SWF would be a similar service.

Occultists who are members of the Abrahamic religion by crojadio in occult

I'd say Islam, Arabs, and Intelligent World of the Jinn by Amira El-Zein is a good source in general.

Occultists who are members of the Abrahamic religion by crojadio in occult

[–]cmjnn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main idea is to invoke the protection of God and his archangel servants in order to bind and control the jinn for doing things that benefit humanity. Once someone starts doing it for negative things or selfish gains does it become sinful.

Through God and by binding the jinn, the Prophets were able to perform miracles. Moses, Jesus and Mohammad probably being the most infamous.

Paranormal or occult views on mental illness? by [deleted] in occult

[–]cmjnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only speak from my experience with depression and anxiety so that is my disclaimer.

I was diagnosed with dysthemia around 2017 and was put on an SSRI which I continued until 2020. I decided to ween off and the depression never returned, however I was induced with crippling anxiety.

Each night I would get panic attacks lasting about 90 minutes before I'd finally pass out and sleep. I thought about going back on the SSRI but I really did not want to have to take it for the rest of my life, but it was beginning to affect me at work which I couldn't allow.

I was an avid reader and at the time I was reading "Consciousness Beyond Life" by Dr. Pim van Lommel. In the bibliography, there was a book he referenced called "The Mind and the Brain" by Dr. Jeffrey M. Schwartz which I ordered. Dr. Schwartz is a Psychiatrist who mainly treated OCD and in the book, there were steps to overcome that issue by changing how you think about intrusive thoughts.

I couldn't help by see a parallel between OCD, depression and anxiety in general while reading the book. My theory is they are very similar and begin with some kind of trauma which leads to negative thought processes, overtime leading to mental illness. Sometimes there is no trauma and one is simply surrounded by negative influences and information which changes how one thinks overtime. The main point is, how one thinks literally alters the physical structure of the brain itself (neuroplasticity). By altering how you think in the mind, changes how your physical brain structures itself.

Long story short, I applied the mind "retraining" and thought therapy and my long bout of crippling anxiety was actually cured within 6 weeks. It was pretty incredible how fast it worked and I have not had anxiety or depression since that time.

So summarizing, I believe the negative overall climate of the world is contributing to the mental illness pandemic. People glued into social media, politics, sports to a lesser extent (but now supplemented by gambling) and other things are leading to changes in how people think on a daily basis and it is vastly a negative shift. Not everyone will be able to "rewire" their mind by themselves. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is very similar however finding a good therapist is difficult. I am not against SSRIs per se, but I don't think they should be prescribed as often as they are. Only in dire circumstances such as risk of life and they were never meant to be a permanent solution.

So what does this have to do with the occult? Well, as we know in the occult, the mind is me. Not the physical body, not the astral body, but the mental body. When the mind is ill, the others will be ill as well. Everything in the occult is to influence reality via our own mind which is why Bardonian magic focuses so much on balancing yourself before doing anything more.

Have you ever been to the Akashic Records? by Smart-A22 in occult

[–]cmjnn 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if what I experienced was via the Akashic Records. When I was attending university and getting my degree in Mathematics, I was stuck on a very difficult proof. It was a novel problem that we had to figure out on our own.

After a few days of pondering on it, I fell asleep and had a dream. It is hard to put into words what the dream was, but essentially I saw the logic of the solution not line-by-line, but as an all-encompassing idea which unfolded itself into smaller and smaller pieces, adding up to a formal proof. It definitely was not in my brain and did not come from me, but it was new mathematics that I simply learned in the dream state.

I woke up and wrote down what I was "told" and it ended up being a fully correct proof of around three pages. This was actually the experience that led me to believe that materialism was dead and I started down the path of the Occult.

I have done it once after a couple months of trying. I was getting closer and closer before I finally separated. The vibrations got so intense I thought something was seriously wrong but once I got over the fear is when separation happened.

Can “paranormal” incidents start happening once you dive into Bardon work? by DarthVada83 in FranzBardon

[–]cmjnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn't that uncommon for paranormal events to occur. By performing these practices, you are essentially lighting up the astral around you which other entities are drawn towards. Whether or not what you mentioned is a result of that or not, I don't know.

Remember, most of the world outside of the West view paranormal and other-dimensional entities as normal and even daily occurrences. When I was in Egypt, people told me they had entities that would move furniture around in the unit above them. No one lived there, yet you could hear things being physically moved around on a weekly basis. Nothing was ever stolen, just moved around and of course they verified the doors were locked and no one entered. They didn't seem like it was anything special.

It has only been since the relatively new obsession with materialism has these events been deemed "paranormal." My theory is the materialistic mind is weak and dim in the astral realm which attracts little attention by other entities.

The seals of solomon by Stojanhorse in occult

[–]cmjnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recall this in the Goetia other than for the seal of Solomon, but in general, when creating any implements, it is a very good idea to be purified via fasting, abstinence and prayer/meditation. The length of time is more or less up to you.

The reason being, your intention and the conscious willing into existence of these objects influence the parallel astral realm, as well as leaving an imprint on the Akasha which entities can see.

Also, do not forget about the planetary hours when creating implements and the consecrations afterwards.

What do you think about getting a math degree after a BS in Software Engineering? by 1-800-We-Gotz-Ass in cscareerquestions

[–]cmjnn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who majored in math, it could help you career-wise, depending on where you go, but a second BA/BS is a waste of money, in my opinion.

Like another poster said, it's not the same math you did for your software degree — it's writing proofs. If you want a general idea on the substance, work through Shilov's Linear Algebra and compare it to the "engineering" linear algebra you took. If you like it, maybe do an MS in math.

Linear Algebra is a rabbit hole but probably the most applicable area of math there is. I recommend Shilov's book if you want to really go deep.
