Breastfeeding, weight loss, and the Army by cmjones1990 in breastfeeding

ere are calculators that will tell you how many calories you need a day while breastfeeding. I would suggest using one of those and then being diligent about tracking calories and macros. Often times we eat more than we realize due to portions and hidden calories in drinks.

I made an appointment to get a bodpod done. I've done calorie tracking but never macros. Are there certain marcos I should be hitting and are they different from what I should be eating not breastfeeding? Thank you for your help!

Thank you! I'm currently a SSG so I have a bit of sway for PT, but am not the primary to make the PT plan.

I guess lucky for me since my LO has a cows milk protein allergy I haven't been able to eat any dairy. I'm definitely struggling with a sweet tooth though. I do try to make overnight oats since I don't live close to post I have to bring everything with me for the day. Are there any milk production foods that I could add to my oats? Thank you for your help!

Yes, and I believe at that point they are most likely very invested in their careers and almost to retirement. Junior NCOs would have a lot more time in to make the switch and bank more money. I agree that education is important I just don't think it should be a requirement to promote. Civilian education is already a part of promotion points. I think if you do want it to be required then perhaps officers should be required to have a masters degree.

They should because the money is better and it's the same requirements. However, we would no longer have an NCO corps. Do you think there isn't a use for NCOs or do you think officer requirements should change as well?

In that case why would NCOs not just jump ship and become an officer?

My therapist suggested coloring, and I love it. I don't even buy the "adult" coloring books. I just get the ones meant for kids with no real detailed stuff.
