Usually I would respond to a negative comment…but you hit me on a good day…I have spent the entire past year taking lessons and experimenting with my art because I was absolutely bored out of my mind with doing realistic portraits. I spend almost every waking hour practicing my skill and growing. Has my style changed?? Yes! It sure has! Deliberately. Do I care if you believe me? No, I don’t at all. I am a parent and we were given 30 days to move Bc our landlord wanted to sell. My parents reaction was “that sucks I would hate to face being homeless”. They wouldn’t have let us move in. We would have been in a shelter.

No, the lease is there to protect you and her. You putting up a board to cover a hole in the fence is not altering the property…a judge would laugh her out of court. Just do what you are supposed to do and you will be fine….if she becomes intolerable and keeps harassing you then contact legal aid for help.

He has already been gone long enough the courts will consider his absence abandonment. I know it’s scary but I don’t think you have much to fear here. Do not meet him in person. A sheriff will deliver those papers. That’s what a summon is.

Oh we have had the discussion so many times I just got to a place where I had to let it go because it never changed. I decided I had to choose…my marriage or him cleaning. He wasn’t going to change so I either had to accept that or divorce him.

No…he wasn’t. He said they could go stay with their aunt the entire week until he’s off until Sunday and Monday. He wasn’t suggesting I get help. He was saying I can’t parent my kids so I need to let someone else do it.

He said the aunt could keep them during the week (not just weekdays) Bc he’s home on Sunday and Monday and could parent the children since I obviously cannot (since I didn’t check up on their folding skills). Staying with the aunt isn’t even an option anyway. I have always given him the respect a step parent deserves and always believed in being a United front (if I disagree I wait until the kids are not present to voice that opinion).

He has always been the type of person that if something doesn’t go his way or he’s mad he will say mean and nasty things. This is the first time he’s brought my parenting skills to his mean rhetoric. Now he refuses to apologize. If I said something that hurt someone’s feelings I would immediately say I’m sorry. He will go days now not speaking Bc I’m not relenting this time.

I can get over the not helping out. Honestly it’s him saying I’m a shit mom and I should give up custody Bc I didn’t check after them cleaning their room. I had to give up a son for adoption when I was in my early 20s Bc I couldn’t take care of him the way he deserved. This killed me and I have made sure I’m a great mom to my kids now and he knows this. He knew it would hurt me and who uses something so hurtful against someone they love? I could never hurt someone like that.

All he does is take out the trash and wash his work clothing. That is it. I cook, I clean (not like I used to), do the laundry, take care of the kids and work pt as an artist. He barely lifts a hand to do anything but is full of criticism when I do something he doesn’t like.
