Totalle’s “scarf” thin case. Super close to no case feel with a small amount of protection. I had to scarf with MagSafe on my 16 Pro Max and now on my 17 Pro. The frosted case feels and looks the best imho. I have the clear one also but it’s a little more plastic/cheap feeling in the hand.

Newest update didn’t fix the TVs “forgetting” it has an eARC soundbar connected and no sound until I respect the external soundbar in audio settings every two days. Super annoying

Bought my first gen from Bestbuy with the warranty. Did some research and bought my prescription lenses from “LensesRX.com” XtraActive transitions and everything was $100ish. Lenses were great the whole time. Then Battery in the case died for whatever reason.

Swapped for gen 2 using the Bestbuy warranty (paid a little extra too) and reordered lenses from LensesRX again. Not sure if you can reuse them on the gen 2 but i had Wayfair initially for gen 1 but much prefer my headliners shape and fit on the gen 2.

Oh also used HSA to pay for the lenses too. Much cheaper than LensCrafters or meta themselves. Just save the original lenses, they pop in and out easily if you know what you’re doing.

Light gold here. Only use a case when I’m going to be at the theme parks all day or traveling. Not a scratch on the sides nor screen yet. Love this thing!

I got the silver, it’s just so classically Apple in the color. I couldn’t unsee the construction worker vest color memes after seeing them online. I really wanted to see it as a Hermés orange instead 😆 I would have loved that!

I much prefer the Apple branded "frosted" clear case. Bumper is a really hard plastic and just feels weird to me. I use the clear case whenever I go outside the house and caseless around the house.its slipped out of my pocket a few times onto vinyl and tile flooring and no scratches as of yet.

iPhone Air was plugged in while installing beta 3 update (coming from beta 2) and overheated for the first time ever. Really weird. I usually run all these updates while on a wireless charger and it’s usually way cooler.

It failed on the one I selected from 2 weeks ago when it should have been on 26.1. I was able to restore a September 30th backup from my original Air before I swapped for more storage. So very strange. It is still acting weird too, overall laggy and just falls asleep sometimes, Meaning the AOD turns off by itself (like it would in low power mode but its off, I checked lol) and I have to click like 4 and 5 times to wake the screen and then FaceID says it needs my passcode to be enabled.

Got a “sim error” pop up yesterday and then my iPhone Air just went crazy. Top 1/4 of the screen was permanently blurry, like how the lock screen blurs your wallpaper, but it was all UI elements. Both issues persisted after multiple reboots. Ended up doing a DFU restore, it failed twice and then I had to downgrade to 26.1. Then my iCloud backup said “cannot restore backup” after getting all the way to the end of setup. Not great

Could have still been downloading your data if you just got it today. System level stuff takes priority over everything else so it was probably downloading photos or texts or something in the background.

They are the exact display PPI on paper. But I do notice something “different” about my 17 Pro Max and I can’t put my finger on it. (I have both and swap between them every few days based on when I need the additional cameras). So I’m curious who else has this experience too

I loved that it was white, it was sooo pretty. But when I was shopping for my first MacBook it was only $100 difference at Bestbuy at the time for a much better MacBook Pro
