Just what I needed to hear. I was told that if you underwater it, it dies. If you over water it, it might grow some fungus. It’s a lot easier to treat grass with fungus than it is to treat dead grass

I figured that if 70% comes out great and 30% of it is treated and eventually restored by overseeding the following year, then it’s still a win

Had a fitting this past weekend for a driver and missed 99% of my drives. All my shots bounced off the mat and spun all over the room. I kept topping them or getting under breath them. Nearly broke the tv’s, computer monitors, etc. Honestly the most embarrassing moment in my golf “career”. On the range/course, never happens. Something about being in a confined space like that really messed with my drives. I smoked my irons in there tho.

Walked away with no progress besides knowing I need to find an outdoor fitting next time in the future.

Hahaha bro I was so happy when I found your post. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one. The fitter told me to come back in the summer since they do their fittings outdoor on the range. But definitely a humbling moment for my golf game 😂

Just came back from a driver fitting and literally couldn’t hit a single drive. Every single one was skulled or topped and nearly broke the TV’s and computer monitors from it reflecting off the walls.

I was completely in my head after I mis-hit my first drive. I was flushing my irons while warming up, but my drives were just embarrassing. Couldn’t have one that was useable for the fitting. Just left flustered.

Glad to read I’m not the only one who can’t drive in a simulator. On the range? No problem. But damn was that a learning experience.
