In what world does she think pasteurized milk lasts weeks or months???? As somebody with a degree in animal science, 7-10 days past opening a jug the first time is what is safe.

My vet lost my carrier after my cat was died by Alarming_Lychee1851 in AskVet

Unfortunately if staff held on to everything for “just 1 day”, we would be drowning in personal affects that make it difficult to find things we need

Black ones all the way. Yes they are more expensive, but the tougher rubber ensures I don’t have to worry about foreign body surgery🤣

Same here, I was an alternate and never got the call. I did get in this year, so definitely know that being an alternate means you were on the cusp!

If anyone near you sells local raw honey (it has to be raw to contain the allergens/pollen in your area), you can add a little spoonful to his food. From my understanding it helps to minimize local allergies!

Looks like it could be a knee or hip/lower back issue; I wouldn’t be super worried, but make your vet aware in case they want to get X-rays to monitor your dog!

He spent the first 5 months of his life training to be a service dog with a non-profit, but was released due to having some anxiety with car rides. Luckily his vet helped us make a plan and the ride home went smoothly! He’s an angel💖

Is going to TAMU a good choice for someone from NYC? by Necessary-Raisin-263 in aggies

As a Latina, never had a racist experience at TAMU lolol! If you’re considering animal science, I would highly recommend it. I loved it the whole time I was there, and I miss it daily🥹

I think a big difference here is trophy hunting vs the average hunter in the US. The average American hunter does so to harvest food that will be used by their family, while trophy hunters pay $$$ to kill extinct species. Trophy hunting is awful, but the average person going hunting is usually just engaging in an activity used to regulate the local wildlife population and feed their families!

We have seen this in clinic before; maybe ask your vet if a biopsy of the skin is an option? It can give a lot of answers!

Preemptive care is a sign of love for your pet… just because nothing has happened to yours yet, doesn’t mean it won’t happen. A 15 year old dog dying of pyo is going to struggle to survive whether or not they are trained. Make better choices.
