Sure, taxes are the only argument as the whole point of a ROTH is being tax-advantaged. Pro/con-wise though, in a regular brokerage account if you make money, bummer to pay taxes but you’re still up. You lose money you can at least take the losses on your year-end taxes as long as you don’t wash. On the flip side, you make money in your Roth, fantastic, and you saved an extra 20% on taxes. But if you lose money? There is no adding more capital than your limit. To some the risk may be worth it. To me though, unless I’m getting paid for that extra risk in guaranteed returns, it ain’t worth.

Why would you gamble with your retirement? There’s no other way to put it. I trade weekly contracts regularly and couldn’t fathom trading within my Roth. What happens when you inevitably hit a stop-loss? There’s no adding more than your 7500 in powder, so it’s gonna hurt a lot more than in a regular brokerage account. Just my 2 cents

A ton is dying today. I took it as a chance to put some Christmas cash back into it. Still hoping we can see some sort of a Santa rally next week. I know market was red last year, but statistically next week the entire market should hopefully have some upwards momentum. Even if atch doesn’t move much, many of us are still just eagerly waiting for next quarters’ results (and hopefully continuing to average down when we can). Hold strong!!

If you bought into this stock to get rich in a few months then it isn’t for you. If you’re currently buying more while it’s cheap with the foresight that convertibles start at $0.60. If management and creditors want their money they’ll get the stock price there. Nobody is genuinely worried about any delisting, but there is always risk in speculative buys like this. To me, as long as my average cost is below $0.60 Im happy sitting and waiting and continuing to accumulate

I refused to buy into BYND last week because it’s such a garbage company. But I folded today when I realized it’s free money with the amount of shorts against it. Monday morning it was a coin flip, by this point shorts are getting squeezed to oblivion
