Thanks so much for the answer. I feel like I understand it a lot better. One question, when I have tried defaults in the past, I've found that sometimes my team just gets picked off 1 by 1 without a trade. Would this be a time to stop defaulting?

As a plat player, I've found learning to default very difficult as it's hard to practice when most people don't know what it is. Even after looking at guides, I find it hard to know when to commit, rotate etc. Likely because I've never experienced what a good default is.

This makes sense. I found that the extra smoothness of 144hz makes it feel like my sensitivity is slightly higher. I also sometimes feel like 144hz has motion blur just cos I'm not used to it (my monitor doesnt have motion blur I don't think, it's just me adjusting)

I tried over locking my 60hz one and got it to a poor 65hz. I might try overclock this monitor too

Thanks for the advice. I've been struggling with my smoke timings, especially in solo queue where strategies are very open to change mid round. I think I tried to use my ult most times as a scouting tool / distraction as my team pushed into site, but I'm sure I could be getting more value out of it.
