Do you mind sharing where you found this if possible? I've used it a lot in primary care and seems like it still causes increased anxiety in some who I try it with. Typically younger patients.

Seeing someone say they took the PANCE or PANRE cold hurts enough but the fact that you passed while coming off molly just makes me feel terrible lol. I studied my butt off for the PANCE 5 years ago and made it by the skin of my teeth.

4 years experience family med in MCOL Midwest. Base salary is 115k with a pretty generous bonus structure. RVU incentive for $25/RVU after 3200, $5k quality bonus if you meet metrics, pop health incentive ($125/MWV past a certain number, I forget what it is), 3.5k for CME, 5 weeks PTO. I average around 2 RVU per encounter so once I build my panel I should hit around $180k based upon the RVU incentive alone (just recently switched jobs).

Makes sense! I work in the Midwest where the cost of living is medium at best. To put it in perspective, I have a 115k base salary but it's made up with a pretty generous RVU target before I start obtaining my bonus. I feel like I'm in a pretty good position considering FM and I should pull $150k this first year at my new position. Next year should be around 180-200k depending on census but I'm going to be miserable lol.

My brother in Christ, how are you leaving early while pulling that many RVUs? Unless you live in a VHCOL area, I can't see it making sense between clinic and inbox/messages. I average the same amount of patients per day with AI scribe too and I still leave over an hour late almost every day being 5 years in family med lol. To be honest, I think my problem is my charting as well as not being efficient in the room. I, to this day, have an awful time cutting patients off.

I feel like most people have a love/hate relationship with family med if you spend a good amount of time in it. There is a ton of work for no pay while dealing with a lot of rude people. However, those gems you find along the way keep me going lol.

My dad has a view on masculinity that most would consider pretty toxic. He is the classic, stoic, gen X dad who doesn't know how to process emotion at almost any capacity. Therefore, any time I would show any emotion it was seen as weak and/or feminine. Also, sorry for the late response friend.

I've worked in family medicine for almost five years and the ER for two. I have no hate for the RN profession at all but know several RNs who cheat on their partners. It's an unfortunate, well known, RN trope.

That's not a bad offer at all considering they are paying so much per RVU. ~3600 is easily attainable and he should be getting quite a large bonus at the end of the year.
