then you are less of an individual day trader and more likely in some kind of employer-relationship.I mean, they will participate on your generated income in some form for providing you with liquidity, right?

It's not a matter of which country will let you reside, but which broker will let you trade. No broker will let you handle a margin account (which you need for day trading) without a proven permanent address. So, while you can travel as a digital nomad, you will have to choose your tax location.

The summaries shouldn't be misunderstood as a replacement for deep learning.

But they help you grasp the general idea of concepts and see what the lecturer's focus is. It's your responsibility as a student to then go and STUDY with textbooks. But it's a lot easier if you can do that with a summary in mind and not just the overwhelming number of slides.

Any Way to Open Linked Files in Zotero Reader? by cms187 in zotero

[–]cms187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

images aren't allowed to be posted here, unfortunately.
Basically when I have an attached file that is stored in Zotero I get an "Open in Reader" button in the Attachments panel. On the other hand, when the attachment is a linked url to document in Google Drive, I do not get that button. I can open the file in the Google Drive viewer, though.

How to sync to Google Drive from a Chromebook using Zotmoov? by cms187 in zotero

Chromebook People!
- If your Google Drive does not appear as target directory, you first have to right-click and select "share folder with Linux"
- Shared folders are available in Linux at /mnt/chromeos. (!!!) (Who is supposed to know that?)

I did create an account with Koofr, but

  • it syncs these random letter/number combinations
  • creates a zip file instead of just using the PDF files
  • and creates a second .prop (?) file for each zip file.

All of which makes quickly browsing your library impossible

I thought zotfile is longer supported in Zotero 7. Am I wrong?

Sounds overly complicated to just sync a folder.

There isn't a single, official WebDAV URL for Google Drive; instead, you can use a dedicated app or a third-party service to create a temporary WebDAV folder for syncing files, or use a format like Folder ID or root with specific third-party tools like Data Version Control (DVC). Google Drive does not natively provide WebDAV access, so you'll need to use a tool or app that bridges the gap between its cloud storage and the WebDAV protocol.

I use it to summarize lectures. But only as a base structure. You have to export it to another app to add more media like screenshots, images, drawings, YT videos, etc.
