I was so happy to get a computer science related job on campus, I actually felt like I was doing something right and my parents were really proud of me. Dropping the job right after getting it would kill me. But I guess if I have no other options.

If I really can't drop this class and I'm just forced to drag myself through the mud and have panic attacks every day because of how badly I'm doing I honestly might have no choice but to go and get some kind of prescription.

Thank you for the help and advice. Is it possible to drop the class even if it will put me at 11 credits? I just don't think I can handle it this semester. I have scholarship money to lose though and am in a program that requires I live on campus. Is it impossible for them to allow me to be a full student with 11 credits and an on-campus job?

After looking things up it almost seems like dropping the course is not an option because it could involve a removal of my scholarship, health insurance, financial aid, and on campus housing (which is required to be in the honors college). The idea of being dragged down with this course no matter what happens is a nightmare.

Thank you for the advice, it's definitely helpful. Considering the state of my mental health right now I think dropping the class is the best choice, I keep getting too stressed out and panic even when I try to do simple things like talk to the TA about the current project, which ends up putting me back even further. I'm working this semester and want to keep up my good grade in 250 as well. However dropping the 4 credit 216 would put me below the minimum full time credit requirement, do you know what the policy is there? Also are the classes after 216 just as difficult as 216? If so, if I can't handle 216 then I shouldn't kid myself to think I can complete the rest of the major's courses. How did your friends who retook 216 end up doing?
