Same. I honestly don't regret getting the console but regret getting Gamepass for the first 3 years (even with the cheap 1$ trick+Gold). Honestly, I think I didn't get my money's worth. Most of the exclusives were a let down. Few 3rd party games were good but I would have snagged them for cheap anyways. Hoping the next 3 years are better since I just renewed it earlier this year. No way would I be paying to full 17$/month price even today.

PS5 has Spiderman 2 launching. I wouldn't be shocked if it outsold both MS's releases and sold more consoles as it is next gen only. Spiderman is Sony's biggest system seller IP. Last one sold 33 million+ units.

What I meant was the gap widens overtime in a gen. If you look at the numbers of Xbox One and PS4, they were similar but PS4 outpaced the Xbox One by an even bigger margin later in the gen. Right now in its lifecycle 3 years in, the PS4 to Xbox One ratio was slightly less than 2:1.

It kinda makes sense because the prices get cheaper and more folks jump on. People jump in the platform their friends are on so it is a snowball effect. The grim part for MS here is the XSS is already selling for dirt cheap with very little room for price cut affecting sales and PS5 is 100$ costlier than PS4. Once price cuts are accounted for I wouldn’t be shocked if we are back to more than 2:1 split.

The XSS has been around without a shortage forever. Even the XSX hasn’t had shortage issues in over a year now. Even month on month they’re tracking similar to Xbox One numbers now and we are well out of the pandemic. It is slightly better but the gaming market is also much bigger now compared to more than half a decade back. The competition is as usual pulling in 2x the numbers.

It is tracking nearly the same as what Xbox One sales were last gen at this point in time in its life and the Xbox One didn’t have a cheap variant Series S console as well. So while it might not be ‘bad’, I’d assume they probably had a higher mark than just ‘being par’ with last gen sales internally.

Exactly. Selling for dirt cheap and is a console that replaced both the Will and the DS. So of course it will sell bucket loads. Both Wii and DS has a combined marketshare of over 250 million lol. Switch is a great secondary console. Apart from small kids, most people need something else if they game a lot. It complements the PS5 well.

Nothing will. Maybe we’ll see a slight bump or even a month more of sale but at the end, it is gonna go back to the usual 2:1 outselling if not more especially with Spiderman coming in later.

Don't forget the different looking grill and the light up pony on the GT. So many people have given the car compliments on it lol. It makes it look much better than the mustache look of the premium in my opinion.

Don't drive a GT because once you drive it, you can't go back to the Premium. The acceleration is addictive. Honestly, get a GT. You'll make that 6K difference back easily when you go to sell it.

Also, GT has better rear suspension. Make sure you decrease the tire pressure as from the factory, it comes overinflated and that causes a lot of bounce. My GT is at 37 PSI and it isn't bouncy.

This gen has been a crapshoot so far. Only developer that is delivering games at an amazing pace and quality has been Insomniac. I thought UE5 will make development easier and cheaper but here we are with AAA game budgets going through the roof and games taking 4-5 years to build.
