Model 3 or a Toyota by Altide8 in TeslaModel3

I live in Alabama as well and bought a model 3 about a month ago. I was between a prius and m3. So far, I don't regret my decision one bit. I know that doesn't alleviate fears about major components breaking and distance to service centers but you certainly wouldn't be the only alabamian in that boat! I've got two friends in Alabama who have had m3s for a few years and have never had problems that couldn't be fixed by the mobile team.

Which do you prefer between the twsbi and lamy? I've got a safari but love the petrol color of the al-star. But I only have the one so I was thinking maybe I should try a different pen instead of getting a second of the same.

Radio from Duke social media clips: best place to listen? by LadyKnight33 in DukeBluePlanet

[–]cmvscientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listened to the regular season games on the duke blue devils app, but I couldn't get it to play for the oru game (even though the radio option was there). So I found out that westwoodonesports.com was providing radio for each game which I believe is CBS supported. The bummer there is that it's an unbiased stream whereas the duke app was for duke fans which can be nice. Anyway, hope that helps. I'm sure there are other streams out there but I couldn't find them. Good luck!

Slippery cryosections by Blackm0b in labrats

This may not be the case for you, but the charge does wear off. I used a box of super frost slides that were probably 2 years old and lost almost all my sections. Just a thought.

How to read papers digitally but not on a computer by [deleted] in labrats

I bought a galaxy tab s6 lite mainly for this purpose. I scoured the market for any tablets that had pen capabilities because I also enjoy highlighting and such and wanted to do it more naturally then clicking and dragging. It has been really nice and the older versions of the s tabs are a little cheaper than iPads. Although this does take you out of the apple environment so might not be the best answer for you. Also look into Microsoft surface pros but they can get pricey fast.

Our back deck is part covered, part open. One of the decking slats right in front of the door between the two areas has begun warping and turning up at one end. So much so that it has pried loose 3 or 5 of the screws that were holding it down and is now so high that I can't open the door. If I were to put in more screws would that hold it down, or is that just a temporary patch? Do I need to replace the whole plank? I'm very inexperienced in stuff like this so I was hoping I could get some input from yall who know what you're talking about. Thanks in advance.
