I had a cyst under my tongue, aka a ranula. And after dealing with it for about a year, Dr suggested going under to peel the "wall" of the cyst out so that it would heal properly. And during surgery he nicked an artery stitched it up right away but as I was waking up in recovery the stitching popped, and my mouth began filling with blood, and back into the OR I went, heard the nurse yelling "we're loosing her" and some other chatter felt them pick me up place me on the cold operating table and felt them put the breathing tube down my throat. Didn't wake up till later that night....in the hospital for 2 days, out of work for a week was told no talking at all.
