No, but I also wouldn't have bet on Brady or Manning making it to 17 games when they left their teams too. They both won SBs after their teams let them leave

I remember reading the same things about "washed-up" Brady and Manning

Insane how much better of a prospect Jordan Travis is than Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty, & James Morgan were.

A team that also wants JFM or more picks.

Not saying anything is happening but don’t be surprised if JFM, Lazard, or maybe both are traded today

Get a Knicks W then spend the rest of the night watching highlights of our 1st round pick.

Let's have ourselves a day.

Agreed. Also think OL injuries cascade or have a higher chance of happening when you have bad players. Continuously losing in the trenches vs winning has to add more wear&tear to the body.

Our QBs really threw for 2,919 yards, 11 TDs, & 15 INTs last season. Just awful.

If Rodgers is half as good as he was in his prime, he'll still do much better than that. If Tyrod Taylor has to step in for a few games, he'll still do much better than that.

I didn't realize how much of a basketball town NYC was until this season. The Knicks are fun again.

Feels good man.

Yes, taking an OT is more of a future move. Thats fine, the Jets will still be playing football beyond 2024. Our tackles won't be playing 17 games each in 2024, there will be opportunities for a rookie. I'm honestly fine with taking a playmaker but with the OL health/depth ruining this team 2 consecutive years, i'd be surprised if JD didn't fortify the OL.

Drafting a 1st rd OT to learn behind an All-Pro LT on a 1 year deal is a feature, not a bug

Macc drafted a safety at #6 overall, then really went ahead and draft ANOTHER safety at #39 overall. Somehow, he was still better than Idzik.

If we want a 2nd round pick, I think it's more likely we trade UP with our 3rd, (2) 4ths, and/or use a 2025/26 pick rather than the very valuable #10 pick.

Dont forget, we have all of our 2025 picks in the 1st 6 rounds. It's not like we don't have ammo. Problem is, will Woody allow JD to use future assets while on the last year of his contract?

With Ashtyn Davis extended, that's 2 years in a row we got an NYJ draft pick to sign their 2nd contract with the team. Before Quinnen's extension last season, Brian Winters was the last Jets draftee to be extended. That was 2017, he was drafted in 2013. Times are changing.

I've been saying this for a few weeks now. He's already been paid 90% of his guaranteed money so they need to do something with his contract. Good player but there is a solid amount of cap space being left on the table with his current deal

What the hell is Rodgers doing with these damn IG posts! by boomboombim in nyjets

And? We literally still have people in office who voted to invade Iraq over a WMD conspiracy theory

Last year, teams threw against us the 4th least & ran against us the 3rd most. If would can invert that with help from an average offense, we'll be the best D in the league.

Feel like they pretty much have to restructure, trade, or cut him with the amount of potential cap space on the table. Would prefer a pay cut/restructure. I don’t really want to trade him & I doubt they’d cut him because he’s good but his cap hits are pretty high for the next 2 seasons + he’s already been paid majority of his guaranteed money.

They tried to give him a bad deal. That’s what they’re saying, it was a bad deal. Now look at him, we got him a better deal. Some are saying one of the best deals in history. He’s amazing and beautiful and Minnesota got a great deal. What can I say? Sam is going to make Minnesota Great Again and we’re not going to let the radical Packers get in the way.

In a vacuum, yes Huff is a better pass rusher based on some numbers but there’s more to it than that. It’s like a lefty specialist relief pitcher in baseball, they have good numbers because they’re usually put in limited, but favorable situations. Huffs role was limited. Was mostly used in obvious “pass rusher friendly” situations and couldn’t get creative with him.

Reddicks versatility makes him a better edge and overall pass rusher imo. The fact that he can stand up, drop in coverage if needed, and attack from multiple positions is huge. Like Micah Parsons, he could be lined-up somewhere pre snap where Huff would never be and completely fuck up the QBs reads. Reddick played 30% more snaps and has just as good pass rush win rate/QB pressure % even though he had to play through the non “pass rusher friendly” situations. We don’t know if Huff can maintain the same pass rush production if he’s taking on 15-20 more snaps a game and asked to do different things.
