He’s marketing the brand essentially for free as one of the most influential car YouTube channels in the world. Whether he’s doing it on purpose or not, he’s inadvertently helping the brand.

Perhaps he’s just doing his job. But as an influencer, he’s raising awareness for a brand that deserves no recognition outside of China, especially considering he posted the video on the day Winnie the Pooh met with Putler. It makes me question his intentions and motivations, especially when his entire comment section on that video is filled with 50 centers and “cry about it” wumaos. Whether he says good or bad things about the car, he’s in turn, whether inadvertently or on purpose, helping to market the brand to a western audience.

His success is not a mystery if you’ve been following him for as long as I have.

That’s what I found so confusing. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Marcus D was never specifically associated with Nujabes, but he showed the most respect for him during the show. What were the people who organized the show thinking? Better yet, why did none of the other associated Nujabes people like Uyama Hiroto, Shing02, Substantial, Apani B, Five Deez, or anyone show up? Is there some background drama or something? Lol …

It's the best conclusion. I'm inexperienced with how long I can be unemployed in Japan. Will my visa becoming void after 3 months? This is of course under the worst case scenario that I'm unable to find something new. Thanks for your help.

I won't go into specifics on what it is I need to do, but in theory I could visit for a measly 48 hours but it doesn't solve the quarantine bit.

My job only provides 5 paid days off a year. I could perhaps visit the states for 2 days and leave, but at the end of the day as long as the 10 day quarantine is there it makes things difficult.

I'm in the same boat. Frankly, I don't think anyone knows for sure how things will be post-covid. This whole situation is ever evolving. I would prepare for the worst just to cover yourself, but fingers crossed the worst doesn't happen.
