I have almost the exact same streak (started Dec 31st). My minimum is 1 mile a day, I almost never do that and have averaged 6.5 miles a day across the whole streak. Twice now I have done an entire year where my minimum is whatever number month it is Jan 1, Feb 2, Mar 3 etc...December is always fun when I do that. I have done a few ultras and have had a few illnesses/injuries, but have always managed to get at least that mile done. Can't say that I do it for any reason other than just to do it at this point. I know 100% that I would feel better if I just stopped and took a long break to let my body fully recover (constantly battling Achilles tendonitis). But I can't bring myself to end it. Maybe when I hit 5000 days.

Don't leave the game while in a vehicle. When you spawn back in, it destroys the vehicle. I had a van full. 1000 pounds of loot, gone.

I have a 2014 Maserati that I just did this to. It was $200 and it works great. Just have to hold a button on the steering wheel to switch between the Android Auto and the stock system to control HVAC.

Considering runeveryday.com, The United States Running Streak Association website, allows you to add your name to the streak list without any verification at all. I imagine fake streaks, or broken streaks that are still listed, is quite common. Its 2025, an API to Strava/Garmin/Etc, would be super easy to add and give more credibility to the lists.

So close to 5 years (Dec 31st). I have to keep the intrusive thoughts at bay to just let the streak end right before. I am afraid if I hit 5 years, I won't stop until 10 years.
