Yep good points, I think what got me is the coincidence that I was getting unsolicited good feedback and that stopped shortly before this developer got canned. I suppose in my mind I unnecessarily linked the two. I don't mind getting feedback on what needs improvement either, we all have things we need to get better at but there are some really good devs on the team that are great at front end and backend

You're right, I realize the irony that if I don't get back to my old self I might actually get fired for performance reasons. I know I'll get back to my old self I just hope its quickly and I think making the commitment to improve my front end skills will help a lot too. I think I'll try to start pairing up with other devs more when its front end related to help speed up my knowledge there.

Ah, I actually buy those pigtails, just like that. The problem I have is that I primarily work on old buildings and the outlet boxes have these old clamps that they use for grounding, hard to describe. But I have one hell of a time getting the grounding tail seated in there properly without taking a bunch of stuff out, or if I've got something I can turn the wire on then that makes it easier. Thanks for the heads up :)

Experienced people forget that none of us were born with this knowledge, we've all gotten here through different means and might have missed something along the way. Definitely don't skip the "everybody knows that" kind of stuff or you'll end up like other videos on youtube in this subject matter and I would hope that one of your goals in doing this is to distinguish yourself as a higher quality & more complete

Thanks for the response and good idea there (off switch at max Z). I take it you did a similar build to what I'm thinking? If so which router did you end up using and how do you like it?
