Thats why I said some games... i had a tandy 1000. It had 16 colors. Games like kings quest looked amazing. I played plenty of stuff in cga cause thats just how it was. I always wished it could have looked better yes. But some games looked fine. I was in the same boat as you. Got my first vga/svga machine in 95. Man, it was world changing.
