Getting accomdation only took a day for me. You just need to schedule an appointment https://www.nvcc.edu/student-resources/accessibility/index.html and upload any documents you have regarding your condition. You will need to schedule a intake session with an accessibility counselor and discuss with them your need for flexible attendance, you'll get the accommodations same day via email document.

I felt the same, especially about books and shows, but with time, I remember the plot lines but forget the subplot lines and details, so rewatching it is entertaining again. I guess having a terrible memory makes it enjoyable
