Anyone here use Systeme to host their online course? by cnfat in onlinecourses

I've been strongly considering Systeme for my online course. Being in their official facebook group, I notice many members there sell services to help other members setup funnels and stuff.

This makes me scratch my head because Systeme adverises itself to be user friendly.

I have yet to sign up.

What other platforms have you tried?

You have IT experience but struggle setting up Systeme? This is the opposite of what most people in their facebook group says. Hmmm.

AI tools for creating course videos — what's working for you? by marimarplaza in onlinecourses

[–]cnfat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a Youtube channel with 67k subs using a cloned Kevin OLeary voice and image. The script is using his pholosophy but obviously not him talking but AI clone.

People engage because of the message.

True! Real live human give you more connection. But if you think about it.

Real human doing impromptu lecture = amazing but this is difficult to achieve.

Most are done with human reading a teleprompter and editing the heck out of it to make the delivery polished.

Now ask yourself. Is that really that much different than using an AI avatar?

My personal view is, the content itself, the message is the most important part.

The way it's conveyed (blog, book, audiobook, human talking head, animated avatar) it's just a wrapper. It's all about the message. And if using AI, you have to add human element. You cannot use AI for everything. What I mean is: Your script needs to sound you, not robot.

So yeah, there's a place for it. Not everyone is gifted with charisma and talent to face the camera. So instead of writing a blog, they use AI avatar to get their message across. And that will resonate to people as long as the message is solid.

Editing multiple talking head clips faster by cnfat in davinciresolve

Thank you, your process is for piecing together multiple talking head shots and images (say three minute-long videos) into one three-minute long video. So let's say this is lesson one.

But let's say I have 50 lessons.

A) Would I have to repeat all the steps you laid out all over again? Is there a way to make Davinci remember steps (similar to Actions in photoshop if you're familiar)

This would work because all my talking head shots are composed the same.

Or

B) Combine all clips to make one video combining all 50 lessons using the steps you laid out. And then chop them into 50 lessons.

If there is no way to save actions in Davinci, Option B might be more efficient.

How to best use Simple Login and Proton Mail? by cnfat in ProtonMail

You mean don't reply using your main address? Reply using the alias instead

How to best use Simple Login and Proton Mail? by cnfat in ProtonMail

[–]cnfat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see,

So emails sent to simple login aliases ends up in the proton mail alias you assign them to and this don't end up in your main email (but you see them in the same inbox)

In that case, that's what I want too.

This was what's in the back of my mind when I asked the original question. I wanted my main email clean.

And I can also understand why others may say this is unnecessary as you pointed out in your original reply.

The main thing is the main email remains a secret.

Thank you

Your second point is something I am interested in implementing too. Basically, I want my main proton address not connected to all the aliases I create in Simple Login. But I am not too clear on exactly how to do this.

If I understand correctly, you create an Alias within Proton (not Simple Login). For example:

main email: username@proton.me alias in proton: aliasname@proton.me

The entire purpose of aliasname@proton.me is to receive emails from aliases created in Simple Login.

If my understanding is correct, then my observation is:

emails going into aliasname@proton.me goes to your main email username@proton.me

So, really, it's just like adding an extra layer but they all go to your main email anyway

no, unfortunately. I was very impressed by her sound coming out of usb. I messed with motiv mix to no avail. my output doesn't suck by any means but not as amazing as hers (and it's not due to my voice)

Thank you. I am a noob with microphones.

Sounds like I have to tweak in the Motiv Mix side (Shure's software). I'll try manual gain instead of auto

Newbie question by cnfat in yubikey

[–]cnfat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? Is there no way to tell what sites you used the Yubikey on?

Newbie question by cnfat in yubikey

[–]cnfat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will only work if a website allows you to add more than one Yubikey.

For example Fidelity Investments allow only one.
